Has anyone on here found a place that does rapid PCR testing in East Tennessee? Even Atlanta, Lexington, Nashville, or Asheville would do. Thanks in advance.

Harris Regional ER in Sylva, NC can do it, but you’ll have to register to be seen as an ER patient and there could be a wait to be seen/swabbed.

Azova has worked well for my family in the past ahead of a flight, if you have some time between now and your flight. They'll ship a kit to your door and a rep will watch you spit in a vial, seal it, and then you mail it off in an overnight prepaid envelope...results were quick.

Does it have to be a PCR? We do rapid tests in the office and print results for patients so they are "official."

Thanks for letting me know about this.

AFC Urgent Care locations in Knoxville had rapid testing as of yesterday with walkins available.

Thank you. That's what I'll probably use, the Cedar Bluff location. That'll be extra-convenient since Tuesday Morning on North Peters usually has good prices on suitcases and I need new ones.

Yeah, from reading South Korea's requirements, I think a PCR test is necessary, but I do appreciate your reply.

Just looked at my kids paperwork and it's a "AMP PRB" test...my bad. Good luck.

edited - Paperwork says in full regarding procedures..."SARS-COV-2 AMP PRB"

We are heading to Kauai tomorrow and my daughter did hers at CVS. I think they have those in East TN right?

$139 per test, that's crazy. Somebody's making money! Rapid tests are actually provided by government funding without charge.

ER in Hermitage will not test unless you have a symptom.
CVS website shows their locations, and the types of test they give. Hermitage CVS offer several types of test.
You have to pre register at CVS. The test are free

My BIL was looking at one prior to an event in Nashville, there's an outfit there that will come to your house and do the test for only $199.
