this guy is rising real fast and we could use another inside body. instead of offering hopsons teammate lets go and get this kid. he dominated greg monroe and elroy vargas......any shot that we get him?

We already have two big guys signed. Assuming no early departures, we will already have a surplus of big men for next season. Pearl said in November that he probably won't recruit another big man for two years. We need guards.

who cares if he is highly rated..if he can play, lets sign him..

i say if we're gonna try and get a SG, we need to go after Lashay Page..This guy is a scorer.

We want this guy ??? Hopsons teammate ain't highly rated.....at ALL !!!

I don't know if CBP wants him, but evidently he's improved and had a really nice season so far. Some people think he may be a diamond in the rough type, but I can't comment for sure because I haven't seen him play. I wouldn't mind taking him because I don't think the 2009 class is going to be as great as most people on this board seem to think.

I guess Page went to the same school as former UNC star Raymond Felton. I'd rather have a lead guard due to the fact Ramar will be the only one on the roster last season, but he seems like a JaJuan Smith type-which is good.

I heard about this guy. Has he played D-1 ball before?

I know this is off topic but I thought someone was adressing me because this dude has the same name as I do lol.

The Harris kid has to go to prep school because of academics and then he is headed to The University of Memphis.

Haha New Coach gets hated on sooo much. It's really funny. I have no idea why. I mean he says dumb stuff every now and then but so does everybody else.

I don't think we need to sign another big man. Losing Crews will expand Woolridge's role next year. It might also keep Jurick from being redshirted, depending on how he looks between now and November. And, Childress will likely see the floor, which is not how it looked for him a week ago. Basically, I think Crews will be replaced by additional contributions from multiple players, although I did project him to start at the 4.

We can either go big with 2-Hopson, 3-Tyler, 4-Chism, 5-Williams, or we could stick with the 3-guard lineup and go 3-Tatum, 4-Tyler, 5-Chism.

Obviously, we probably will sign another PG now. I think we should hold the other scholly for '09.

I'm 99.9% sure Philip won't be redshirted.

From what I've gathered at this point, that seems to be the plan according to Steve Forbes.

Tyler will see as much time at the three next year as he did this year, ZERO.

We've frequently used a 3-guard lineup under Pearl to get the best five players on the floor. We now have the personnel to use a more traditional lineup. You may be right, as my projection is based only on my own observations and opinions. My feeling is 'why remain undersized when it's no longer necessary.'

because with cameron tatum and scotty hopson hes going to want to keep running the ball up and down the court because they can play that kind of basketball
