Rasmussen: Haslam +28

Tennessee is an odd state. I would rather have a Democrat governor for Tennessee than a Republican.

ended up being very disappointed.

The thing to ask is who will actually do the best job of running the state, staying on a budget, and not running the state into the ground.

My money is on Haslam.

He has done an excellent job in Knoxville.

What did he do in Knoxville? Or for that matter, what did Corker do in Chattanooga?

Haslam = Corker 2.0

Haslam pretty much did squat as mayor of Knoxville. Wasn't even a factor, it seemed like.

Anyways, I can't support either man in this race. McWherter is barely even a factor, and Haslam has no real tangible policy or position to grab on to.

Downtown Knoxville actually has a pulse now.

Managed a city budget very well the last few years.

Knoxville, I will say, is a better place now than it was when he got here.

I really think that this goes back to the whole envy of money thing.
