How do you rate Danica's debut? Started 12th and finished 6th after a shunt through the grass.

I personally give her a B+. Her save after being run into the infield was impressive, and she restarted around 18th, moving to sixth.

I agree. I thought the save was very impressive. She had a nice run for her first time in a stock car. Overall, that was painful to watch. It's well known that I'm a huge Danica fan, but I thought the way the coverage focused on her was overkill. They should have called it the ARCA Danica 200. With about 20 to go I was actually pulling for that Allie chick.

I had similar thoughts, did you see where almost all the media people were in her pit after the race with just a few in victory lane? The media focuses where the hype is. Never mind they were who created the hype in the first place.

I noticed that. It was similar to the way the media reacted after the 05 Indy 500.

decent, but it was the arca race. we'll see what she's all about next week.

Arca is a joke. Her best part of the day was keeping the car clean. I still don't think she's ready for next week. I'd stay with the original plan and let her race at Cali' where it's much easier than drafting packs at Daytona.

She was leagues better than the other open wheelers in the race. Piquet should go back to Brazil, Duno should just give up.

Piquet is a spolied brat, but in terms of the race, he gets a little slack since he's never set foot in a stock car until yesterday.

Duno should be allowed to stick around simply because she has amazing cans.

Danica did about what i expected she would.

About what I expected. Some of that was probably due to better equipment though. She did make a nice save.

How many drivers finished 6th or better in their first nascar race? That's phenomenal IMO.
