jmoore did you see that rivals dropped Carson to a 2 star, WTF!

Yea I saw that, it's a joke. Most people believe that I think all our kids are under the radar players, which isnt true. I dont think Carson should be a 4* by any means but I do think he should be a mid 3*, the 2* ranking is a joke for a kid with 34 TFL & 10 sacks on the season.

By the way, in regards to Tom Smith and Saulsberry (or maybe it was Williams), is it common for them to say things like,"we havent seen his senior film" and "we havent sent anybody down there" and stuff like that?

They have seen Tom Smith in person & the knock on him was he doesnt have breakaway speed. They havent seen Senior film on Randolph but once they do he will be a 4* & they said they havent seen Senior film on Williams but they saw him in person & the knock on him was that he doesnt use his hands enough.

I understand why they havent seen some film on players or been to some games because they are covering 1,000's of prospects & it's just hard to keep up with every single one.

How about what they will actually do since stars don't matter once they're here (or arguably ever if you have your own talent evaluators)
QB:

Justin Worley - redshirt frosh, one-two year clipboard holder,two-three year starter

RB:

Tom Smith - ?
Devrin Younh - immediate impact on return game

WR:

Vincent Dallas - nice deep threat, good compliment to hunter and rogers

OL:

Kyler Kerbyson - 3 year starter, all-sec by senior year
Alan Posey - ?
Mack Crowder - starting at center next year, gives us ability to move stone where we really need him

TE:

Brendon Downs - ?

DT:

Allan Carson - sees the field next year
Trevarris Saulsberry - sees it a lot, but not as much as couch

DE:

Jordan Williams - wish we had three of him

LB:

AJ Johnson - could have early impact
Christian Harris - if crump and propst keep coming along, competition will be steep to overcome in first few years

DB:

Justin Coleman - beast
Tino Thomas - beast, going to be a deep rotation here soon

S:

Brian Randolph - same goes for these three. Never know who will really pan out but our def backfield should be set
Pat Martin -
Eddrick Loften -

Not trying to ruffle feathers, I just don't get too excited about what these services have to say. Seems to either build unrealistic expectations or piss you off, but rarely does it work like they say it will.

They're all high-character 3* guys. We just better hope that they all stay committed to UT. I understand many of them are considering the monastery instead.

Actually, now that the coaches appear comfortable that Stone can snap left handed without incident the coaches want to leave him there. They have said repeatedly that they think he has a tremendous future at center. I think Mack most certainly does not start next year. Fulton and Schofield will be very good at guard for us next year.

Do you think thomas will stay at left tackle? He seemed slow against matthews from sc. I know that guy will be playing on sundays, but what change, if any, might we see there?

If James moves to LT then Thomas will move to RT. But Thomas will not move out of the lineup. He is a quality tackle.
