Can't believe he's the first active NFL player to do this. My guess is players are too afraid of public opinion to speak up for what's right.

Monroe makes great points, but they need somebody more articulate.

If you can treat pain, stress, and anxiety with one natural drug that is relatively safe, there is no reason to be taking opiates and behavioral modification drugs that are synthetically manufactured and have bad side effects.

Well, that's part of the problem. Established vices (tobacco, alcohol) are threatened by the emergence of marijuana, and they've opposed it through lobbyists for a long time.

Money is the reason it will become legal everywhere, but it's also the reason it's taken so long to make the change.
