Asst AD at NC st for a few years over 20 years ago or something.

This is a terrible move for SC...Spurrier won't like being under a baseball coach. This has been a huge debate in the office today between myself and my brother, Clemson fans and SC fans.

I was under the impression Spurrier and Tanner are pretty close? I'm not sure what to think ofbit yet. I know there was bad blood between Hyman and Tanner. Iirc, Tanner wanted the job the last time it came open. Tanner will be able to raise money anywhere he goes; that much is certain. He is a God in that state.

This is similar to when Skip Bertman was named AD at LSU. I am not familiar with those results. Was that successful?

What happen to the fad of hiring a corporate exec type AD? I remember when Hamilton was hired everyone wanted an intellic.
