I remember the RB types that had success in Heupel's offense at UCF, and have been surprised that (at least, that I'm aware of) he hasn't gone after those zip-quick, undersized, threat to score on every play, speedsters. I'm guessing the pass blocking demands of an SEC schedule have altered his prototype.

So how would you characterize Heupel's ideal RB for Tennessee? (conjecture)

Which HS backs have the staff's attention right now? (fact)

We went after 5 stars, and, got outbid for one. And, the other chose his dream school.

Martinez and Garner are top line recruiters, and also have decades of coaching experience.

Sack up. The three stars we have committed have been camped, and earned offers.

Your definitely at defcon5 with your mental capacity. Rome wasnt built in a day. It takes time and winning helps. Unfortunately Tennessee needs fans to support Spyre. Spyre only hase about 700 members... Need more. So either donate or shut the hell up. You can't go toe to toe and out bug a lunatic like Ruiz. They will not sustain that long term. Giving an OG 4million is absolutely crazy. Francis was not worth that price tag, guards are easier to find

And to hopefully get this derailment back on track I hope Seldon chooses Tennessee, and I think he could be used as a RB/slot receiver role. In the 2023 class he appears to be the best of the remaining options for UT at RB.

If he goes elsewhere, it might be best to wait until the next class and/or look in the portal next year for another back.
