Are Vols after any RBs that we know of?, Seems like you need at least 1 and normally 2 a year.

Aaron Beasley, a current commit is a RB possibility. However, the way he hits on defense, we may keep him there. Q. Crouch is the #1 player in the country, and is a RB, but we have talked about using him at LB, and that's why he are ahead. He is interested in LB. not sure about others. .

'19 - NC RB Quavaris Crouch - Here is the Quavaris Crouch thread, 5* RB thats interested in LB as well.

Other than that, check the recruiting forum. We aren't in on a whole lot of RB's this cycle but I imagine we will find one or shift someone who is profiled as another position into RB.

Quavaris Crouch is a beast of a RB, but he could also be a monster at LB. It's unclear as to which position he will play in college and placing him in the position that most benefits a team would certainly be a quandary for a coaching staff. Pray that we face this dilemma.

I think CJP wants a big back like Henry at Bama, and there are not a lot of big fast backs available in this cycle. jmo

I like what the running back situation looks like. Any of our current backs can more than get the job done. Gillespie can recognize talent from anywhere.
Chandler, Banks, Jordan or the Michigan State transfer can all get the job done. Plenty of depth there.

Any position group where Pruitt felt they needed to go get a grad transfer for immediate help is not a position they feel good about. Can't imagine they won't sign at least one back in this class if not two.
Grad transfer is one and done. Ty Chandler is good but a little undersized for a power running team which Pruitt has stated often that they want. Not a lot else on the roster and Banks is an unknown until they put the pads on.
Hoping we can get at least one big explosive back in this class

We land Crouch, and we'll have 2 big, explosive backs in this class.

I prefer both on defense, especially Beasley. I think UT needs that enforcer safety that RBs and WRs have their heads on a swivel wondering where and when Beasley comes across the field and knocks the sh!t out of 'em

I think the coaches are not settling for someone to hold down a roster spot. I think they are looking for the right guy and until he comes along we are not just going to take a guy to take him.
Yeah, but can we need depth at that position, Alabama and Georgia are proving that it's a selling point with kids nowadays. Kids don't want to be run into the ground these days like Auburn did with Carrion Johnson.

If we get the right guy next cycle then we're fine.

Chandler and Jordan are good backs. Regardless of scheme.
Banks and Fant give us the size.
London too. So we'll be more that fine.

True freshman often come right in at RB and contribute. We'll be fine till next year.
We need to worry about getting guys to stop the run!
