There is only 2 people that can get the ball in the read option. The qb or running back. Why can't our D play assignment football. We knew they were going to run it, and it was going to be the qb or rb. I honestly feel that we could have had austin peays D, and it wouldn't have been worse. U know what they are going to do!!!!

We ran a QB spy with Brewer all game. He, nor anyone else, could contain the edge man it's that simple. I screamed for Maybin by the 3rd quarter.

we aren't fast enough. All year you see fast running back or quarterbacks run right up the middle past our entire defense

Yep. There guys were better than our guys in the one on one's.

As I sit here having a little JW Black and watching LSU/Alabama I felt sad that we have become so irrelavent in college football. We have set more negative records in SEC play than I care to count. I hurt for our players, fans, and alumni. I believe Butch can bring us back and our recruiting is great so there is hope. Having said that, the administration should shoulder a lot of the blame. Now I feel a little better, don't know if it's the JW Black or venting. I love my school.
