I just get the feeling if we could just land a couple of these big fish, the dam might break open and really get the momentum going. We just need a commit or 3 from the big boys!

I would rather have "high character guys", "guys who bleed OR", or "instate 2-3* guys who give their all for TN". No more 5* pre-Madonnas need apply.

Didn’t really buy in to Kiffin, hoped against hope on Dooley, hook, line and sinker for Butch, waiting on some results on Pruitt...

I think a lot of kids are waiting to see if Pruitt is a good head coach or just a good assistant.

Odds are he gets the game better than Butch. Maybe we go for two now, hand it off on the 1, etc... Florida game should tell us if he can handle it. They have a new coach and come here. If Mullen is decidedly better in year one we're in trouble. All in all, there's 7-8 wins in there next year. I'm in wait and see mode for the time being. I'm sure most of the top recruits feel the same. If he has some success though, all bets are off...

With the current roster and our SEC schedule, I'm not sure if Saban could win more than 7 games this year.

It's going to take a few years of 'crutin and development before we have a better understanding of whether Pruitt will succeed.

Anyone who expects more than 6-7 wins this season needs to greatly temper their expectations.

Our coach may be on a learning curve, but I'm comforted by the fact I don't have to listen to lame excuses and ridiculous analogies. I think he has the guts to go for two, onside kicks and I'm glad about it.
