Florida is 3-0 in conference play. This weekend we host LSU, then on the road to Auburn. But after that, things get a lot easier. Realistically speaking, Florida SHOULD beat UGA. All that would be left then are South Carolina and Vanderbilt. Granted, South Carolina is not bad at all, but the game is in Gainesville and Florida will be super-pumped for it if it means an SECE championship. UGA has talent, but so far they are not very impressive. That could change, of course, but at the moment you have to like Florida in that game.

To my thinking, if Florida wins Saturday, then UT absolutely must have Auburn beat Florida and then Florida stumble either versus UGA or South Carolina, neither of which, in my opinion, is likely.

Yes, you need to take care of business yoursevles, but the way things are shaping up, the Florida-LSU game is as important to your hopes for an SECE title as anything else on Saturday.

Did I read that you guys lost your starting RB for next week?

I don't know if you read it.

However, if you did, its correct. Wynn is last I heard questionable. We do have some guys behind him, but he was the definite starter, so we will have to see how that shakes out.

Yeah, i've been perusing the sports sites for the last hour or so and thought I might have seen that headline somewhere.

Unfortunately, LG, you're right on. We will be Tiger fans for both games, but I will NOT call myself a Plainsman or end ANY word in -eaux.

Good luck on getting Wynn back. . . .later in the season!

One question (that came to me while watching the UF game this week): do you cringe just a bit when Tebow lowers his head? I know he's big and strong, but dang it's tough seeing your future stud QB taking licks.

Oh, absolutely. I can just see the guy breaking his arm, or worse. He runs without fear, that's for sure.

And that is a blessing and a curse.

Yeah, you are the same guy who is rooting for Tebow to get hurt. I remember that.

Good luck in Vegas.

Not.

Perhaps you should have read my rebuttal under the "Top 25" thread where you made this accusation before. I clearly stated that I never want anyone to get hurt. Learn to take a joke...

Right now UF has a huge edge. IMO the only thing that could keep the Gators out of ATL are 3 SEC losses. I do think UF will win the cocktail party and AU should beat UGA. Regardless of what happens in the UT-UGA game, UT still has LSU (not to mention some tough games at SC, at Arky and vs. Bama).

We don't need to start talking about any SEC E anything unless we be UGA. If we don't beat them, it won't matter what happens in the LSU/UF game.

I know where you're coming from, and yes, it does matter. but only if we beat UGA...which is the only thing we control at this point. So i'll leave any SEC E talk alone right now until about 11 p.m. Saturday night.

Definetly a big Saturday for UT fans on both fronts. We control our own fate though if we don't take care of the dawgs it becomes a hard road the rest of the year. I think if we win we'll have a good deal of momentum for LSU.

Tebow will get himself hurt because he is young and don't realize that defensive players love hitting QB's.

Patrick Willis will break him off some proper !
