Some dude on an AM radio station in Topeka, Kansas has a source that claims that Mack Brown will retire. It's currently the only source that's out there, and it's about as likely to be true as the Saban to Texas rumor is.

Texas AD says, "It doesn't warrant a response".

Just thought I'd post it for the hell of it.

Nah, he posted on his twitter feed. He says his source is a FBS coach who is legit. I, obviously, doubt it.

Doubtful as it may seem, dude is going to be basking in some serious schadenfreude if he's right.

Stay away from all things Topeka.

Lame. Can't believe this was even posted.

That said, it's nice to see you climbed out of your hole again Queen Nicky.

I know many will disagree, but I think the Texas football program is the most overrated thing in amateur sports.

the announcers on ABC just made fun of this one

said they "got it from a reliable source...the bus driver at National car rental in the Dallas/Ft-Worth Airport"

Rumors that he may be forced out soon.

Who would fire a guy who won a national championship and two conference titles just for a couple of bad years?!

This is the one and only job I think Petersen would leave Boise for. Maybe that's why they'd force Brown out.
