I get that a lot of people feel that way, Gators fans or not. For me, personally, I think he just lost his focus and left, unable to really take the pressure. Who knows what else might have been going on in his life then? I don't think he left then, planning to suddenly pop up at tOSU a year later.
And even if he did, so what? It wouldn't have left us in any better shape if he'd jumped right from one to the other instead of waiting.
The problem at UF is that a lot of super talented kids wanted to go there, bu he started to waffle, and so guys like Strong and Addazio abandoned ship because they saw what was coming. And there went a ton of commitments.
So when Muschamp came in, he inherited a team where the top assistants were gone or on their way out, taking a lot of the better recruits with them. Add in Muschamp's inability to get a coherent offensive scheme together, and, whallah, yuck.
