Idk how bad or good this show will be but I read that it is in fact set in Knoxville and there is UT memorabilia on the set. Pretty neat. I know her last TV show has somewhat of a cult following. Sorry if this doesn't deserve it's own thread...

I saw the previews for it earlier. It is indeed a cool premise and backdrop being in Knoxville. It will be hard to live up to the lofty expectations of her original show which I watched quite a bit,but it's worth giving it a shot given the locale.

She doesn't do a lot of acting, but when she does, it's usually pretty good. She seems to have a good eye for material. Tremors is one of my faves.

My wife wanted to give it a try, and there is indeed lots of UT paraphernalia in the set. I haven't heard them mention anything though.
