After watching the morning games today, OSU-PS, and Syracuse - ND, I have noticed a glaring difference in our receivers versus others. All our guys have soft hands. Watch Hyatt look the ball into his hands. Tillman and Keyton do also. These guys from the other schools look like they're playing with concrete gloves on. I know our guys have a lot of God given talent, but they play consistently well which tells me they are coached up every week. And, it is against all levels of competition.

There’s only 1 WR that could start for us out of the teams you mentioned. Marvin Harrison Jr is the only WR between the 4 teams that could play significant snaps if not start for us. UT has the best WR room in the country.

Yeah, Harrison has had some really nice catches today.

I don't know if he'd get a lot of play time given Tillman, Hyatt, McCoy, and Keaton, but he'd certainly be welcome to join the crew. He would be in the rotation somehow.

I think Harrison would be right there with our starters.

The last two seasons are the only ones in recent memory where UT receivers were automatic.
JJ was the King of jump balls.
We now have guys that don't drop and stretch out in clutch moments. I actually expect our guys to catch the ball.
It is really great for my blood pressure.

If you count tight ends as receivers, Georgia has two.

Part of that is natural, MUCH of it is the approach by Pope. Someone else referenced the JUGS machine, which has transformed Hyatt immensely. Swain has always extolled how Trooper Taylor improved his position group with that machine when he switched from running backs.

It looked to me like the fields were not stretched and the receivers weren't getting as much space as our guys create. Kinda boring. 😁
