Kid has one hell of an ego.

"I'm waiting for LSU to offer too," said McGuffie, who credits himself with 4.4 forty speed. "They are really high on my list. Coach (Larry) Porter said he's coming to watch me play. I went up there to the spring game and I was shocked at how slow their running backs were. I know I could go in there and really help the offense out. They really need speed. I think they're going to offer soon."

Lol... that one little guy, dont remember the name or number(but he's tiny) is one of the fastest players I've seen in awhile. He burned UT on 1 or 2 plays and had the most AMAZING speed I've seen to get around the corner when the DB had a great angle on him against Fresno State I think it was. I'm guessing he is still at LSU(thought he was a fresh or sophomore last year)

I'm not sure I want to live in a world where a white guy can call people slow.

Keiland Williams or some such.

Yeah I've seen him.. he has great blocking but still is great... but there's no way he has more speed than that little RB LSU has if he's still playing.

He, like every other big recruit, is used to being a god in high school. It's the rare 4 or 5 star recruit who doesn't think he is better than everyone else on earth.

He better be careful when his team, whoever it is in the SEC, plays Tennessee. Chris Walker will clean his clock, too..........

Trindon Holliday...lil 5'5" guy. I looked up a couple of videos on him, and he's fast as hell. Never gonna be a starting tailback at that size though.

Keiland Williams is plenty fast, plenty big, and plenty talented...I don't think anybody is going to come in and take his carries.

The kid reports his own 40 at 4.4. Which means of course that his real 40 time is much worse. That doesn't make him as fast as he thinks he is. A 4.5 or 4.55 40 doesn't qualify as elite RB speed.

Seems to be a theme with high-value LSU recruits. Didn't Ryan Perilloux (sp?) say the same about coming in and starting right away? Didn't seem to work out for him.

Wait until this guy sees how fast SEC LB's are though. That will be a little different than HS.

Interesting choice of music in that clip. A little controversial as well. Could be problems for a white guy to play that.

He said he would win the Heisman as a freshman.

"The superior man acts before he speaks, and afterwards speaks according to his action."

Don't know who said it first, but sounds like good advice.

I was at Applebees the other day, watching some '06 college football highlights on the tube, and our server came up and started to make small talk. He mentioned he was a LSU guy. My buddy, making small talk himself, mentioned how LSU would have to overcome losing Russell. His response: "Yeah, he was big last year, but our 3rd string guy is good enough to start for most teams, so whatever." I wanted to asked him if he won the Heisman as a freshman, as I beleive Perilloux predicted, but I didn't want spit in my brew.
