That dude is wild and saying some crazy stuff. Most teams have played us the same all year and he’s making it sound like teams are adjusting to us. They aren’t, they just can’t stop the run game because of our wide splits and elite backs. The GOAT isn’t scared of anyone.

That said, F Saban and Bama.

The GOAT is General Neyland, not the insecure little elf.

I have listened to way too many national media guys for this game, and I remembered why I stopped. I keep hearing that Bama has found their identity in chunk plays and Milroe runs (LOL)... Thats not an identity that is being lucky the last few weeks. Bama scored 3 points in the second half against a BAD Ark team @ HOME. I get that Milton has been bad, but that is equally poor and isn't being discussed as much as it should.

I think Bama's luck runs out and gets exposed tbh

This is it. Joe may not be throwing perfect passes, but Tillman made contested catches when Hooker wasn’t perfect. The highlights are there. Need both to improve.
Yeup. Part of not getting a flag thrown on some of these questionable calls is also on the WR not working hard enough towards the ball.

And also not throwing a big enough fit on PI, for example (from last week): mimic the DB grabbing and holding your wrist and pushing your arm away from the ball. Tell it to the ref. That was amazingly flagrant and a no call. Hard to work hard with your hand behind your back.

I know we have to reset fast, but arguing for a call is worth the delay.

BUT REALLY, it is 100% on the official staring right at it. But we also need to respond.

Yeah Bama has just if not more of a hard time scoring as we do. Most of their scoring was because of Ark drfensive breakdowns.

Aside from the 3 TD drives where they hit big plays against busted coverage and the one FG drive where they got down the field in three run plays, they couldn't sustain anything. Couldn't protect Milroe and Milroe misses high on a few throws like Milton.

You don't see a lot of drama from our players when calls are missed and maybe Hype has coached that.

Players seemingly move on and Hype usually is the one venting on the sidelines.

Hopefully this game will be called fairly across the board but

this game is being played in Bama.

We only scored 30 against the Peay boys because @Glitch

it makes the defense decide how they're going to play it for sure. i think as a group, Bama's LB's are better, even if just marginally. their front 7 is still really good, and i agree, it will look/feel like last week. and i think crowd noise will factor...it has in every other big road game we've played....so i don't know that it changes this week.

Bama's secondary is probably a lot better than aTm's however, and i don't think we've seen a WR really handle tight coverage...of course that's assuming we can get the ball to them. lol. long story short, we're not seeing guys running around free like we did last year....

i do agree opportunities will exist...i'm not confident we'll be able to take advantage of them whether it's Joe missing or the WR not catching or the line not blocking..the passing game has not been spot on in any way/shape/form so far this year. and that doesn't mean they have to suddenly turn in to the 22 vols offense....but they need to step up their play the rest of the season for sure.
This will be a significant element in this game. Our offense has not dealt with noise very well. The Bama crowd is very fickle if it is going well they will be loud, if it's not they will sit on their hands. When they are not happy or nervous they tend to clam up in my experience They are not like Vol fans who are pretty roucous unless the game is out of hand, whether because of fanaticism, frustration, or Inebriation.

"Runaway" Riley.

Couldn't win it all at Okie, can't win at USC. With gigantic NIL, the flashy city as magnet, and a cushy schedule. You hate to see it.

This was my favorite:
