Why are we the only ones seeing that receivers are still getting open?...I will agree that it is not to the crazy level that they were last year, but I think that is more based on how defenses are playing us...I think they are getting away with grabbing and mauling our guys....yet there are still guys getting wide open regularly every game...Joe either messes up and throws the pass too late, or never sees them and throws to the wrong guy, or just outright throws a horrid pass...then the few times he has thrown really good passes on plays he did diagnose well...the recievers are dropping it or tge defender is getting away with mauling our guy...so to say "it's not all on Joe" is partially correct. He also doesn’t have the same QB. If Hooker was our QB, Squirrel would be having a JH type season. Nimrod has played in multiple games. And he is getting open, Joe isn’t throwing it. Sorry that hurts your feelings.
The receivers look bad because the QB is bad. Amazing how “bad” our receivers were when Milton started years ago and then we’re amazing when Hooker took over. It will be the same when Nico takes over.

Behind the AI magic that lets Amazon's Prime Vision show the NFL like never before
The predictive Defensive Alert teaches itself through data who's blitzing before the ball is even snapped.theathletic.com
"The data includes the players' acceleration, their orientation and where they are facing. From all that data, the machine starts to understand familiar movement patterns from the defense as a whole, which helps it predict which player is going to blitz."
Joe is the biggest problemThis is simplistic and mostly wrong. Milton is not Hooker but he is not the biggest difference from last year. Our biggest problem to this point has been the o-line, receivers, and penalties/no-calls. Cade has helped with the o-line issues the receivers have yet to be resolved. We lost two fast and physical receivers. Bru was physical not fast and he's gone. Squirrel is fast not physical. Keyton is not real fast or real physical, a possession type receiver. Thorton could be but has not stepped up to this point.
The penalties need to be fixed, the no-calls probably won't be fixed.
