Telander pointed up when the ball was kicked, the letter of the law states that an arm raised above the shoulder is a fair catch. It's super ticky tack because it's one of those things that never gets enforced.
Seriously?? That’s what they called the fair catch?? That’s more egregious than Dee doing a low airplane thing. My word! Just atrocious! I’m gonna watch for a Uk player to do this Saturday night and see if a flag is thrown.

They could have let the pass interference slide which is what helped us win the game…. we are pretty much out of the playoffs…. the point was why try to make us lose to kentucky.
None of your questions referenced Kentucky so the goal posts were moved. A ky win gives them a quality win thus attractive bowl bid. You probably think Sat game was fairly officiated 😂😂😂

It wouldn't matter. A one loss Tennessee and SEC champion would definitely go to the playoffs.

Yeah but Tennessee still has to play Georgia and UGA would be the protected team in that game. So it benefits the league to protect Alabama last Saturday. It’s not like it really mattered. Even with the bad calls Alabama adjusted and dominated us in the second half while we collapsed. There was bad officiating but we also just got beat.

It's just convenient it gets enforced for Bama. It's just convenient they only have ONE penalty all game. For Bama, it's always convenient.

We lost that game because we sh*t the bed in the second half. But the officiating in the beginning of the second half effectively brought Bama back into the game. The atrocious kickoff call and blatant missed holding on Pearce when they threw the TD saved Bama.

Just once I want to know what it feels like to be saved by Refs in a big game. Just ONCE

So you're making my point that there was a motive to insuring an Alabama win?

I’ll help you out: no flags will be thrown.

That “fair catch” bs would not have been called 95% of the time, especially if it was resulted from the guy on our FRONT LINE just pointing his finger in the air
A caller into Basillio's OT show on Saturday night said Vandy got the same call against Florida.

I don’t comment on officiating for the most part, but the 3&9 holding call when we stopped them, really put the nail in the coffin. That’s a big shift there alone

I am saying the league has consistently protected its most likely playoff contenders and Alabama was just that on Saturday, but that there isn’t a conspiracy by the SEC to specifically keep Tennessee down like some have been alluding. Last year we had a chance to break through but we didn’t seize it.

Our defense is still not as good as a typical Saban defense, so it's not apples to apples. Heupel still has to be aggressive in some circumstances to attempt to put points on the board.
I agree -- we need to take strategic risks. The 3rd quarter 4th down play extended the boundaries of common sense, though.
