This is all @Weezer 's fault. He should give up his own testicle this time. Besides, my are just too big to give away.
We tried to give away @Weezer's testicles, but there is surprisingly no market value for purple yeti testicles. They are worthless.

100% agree. Bama’s been getting away with everything go for years.
Kirby learned every Saban trick while he was at Bama.
Kirby even used it against Bama 2 years ago after losing the SEC championship game and took out Bama’s receivers eliminating the passing game to win the NC.
Took out Harrison jr last year when Ohio st put a scare in them.
OSU put more than a scare in them Tbey were about to put them away before that hit.

Doc Holliday—gunslinger, gambler, and occasional dentist—dies from tuberculosis.

By all accounts, Holliday was a competent dentist with a successful practice. Unfortunately, cards interested him more than teeth, and he earned a reputation as a skilled poker and faro player. In 1875, Dallas police arrested Holliday for participating in a shootout. Thereafter, the once upstanding doctor began drifting between the booming Wild West towns of Denver, Cheyenne, Deadwood, and Dodge City, making his living at card tables and aggravating his tuberculosis with heavy drinking and late nights.

Holliday was famously friendly with Wyatt Earp, who believed that Holliday saved his life during a fight with cowboys. For his part, Holliday was a loyal friend to Earp, and stood by him during the 1881 shootout at the O.K. Corral and the bloody feud that followed.

Their offense may be more limited by trying to get him to play when he’s not ready versus just playing his backup. Plus he may get injured worse. Not a smart move by whoever his guiding him in his decisions.
While Tightrope lessens the chance of further injury it is going to hurt like the devil.

Are you saying it was unnecessary to repeat because you and everyone always recalls these facts about officiating to mind when seeing game stats? I would be glad to know that were true!

Or that you yourself don't consider this distorting factor when examining stats, and you wish that all other would join you in ignoring the obvious? That would be bad imo.
---

As for your remarks yesterday about Bama's strength of schedule, there is no way the CFP should count Bama's rigged game against us as a "win" for Bama. The Committee should treat it as a Bama forfeit, at the very least.

I wish one or more teams competing with Bama for a spot would bring up the obvious rigging in our game with Bama every time that old cheating-with-impunity Saban or one of his sycophants touts Bama's "strength of schedule." The crooked officiating was really that bad and determinative of the outcome. They need to have their video clips of our game ready to roll! Sankey can't fine them or punish them through disadvantageous scheduling or bad bowl assignments, or rig their games with his refs. 😂

For EVERYONE who argued with me about the tightrope surgery recovery timeline and insisted ther was no way Bowers would be back for the game against us, and here they are talking about him being back the game before us?!

He won’t be the same just like Tillman, could also be a bluff, or just getting him back on the field for a couple plays for one last time at home

I have this thought. It’s a foreign concept here on volnation, but just hear me out. It’s possible, stay with me now, it’s POSSIBLE to have a difference of opinion and discuss it without calling someone a blind idiot or getting upset about it. Just a thought.

Now that you have me thinking about it, it does come to mind that Birmingham's officiating against us at home has been very bad all year, even against non-conference teams. So it is possible that there is no distortion introduced in comparing home and away stats per se. Rather, the distortion occurs by the circumstance that the two games where the Birmingham officials had to most go into overdrive to effectively rig the outcomes happened to be road games. I could see that.

Yeah I'm fully prepared to eat crow, but it's not happening.

I'm guessing they are making a run for the first playoff game.

Cam Rising was a game time decision against Florida, according to the national media. Dude is still hurt and the season is damn near over. I think this has just been an exceptional year as far as people playing silly games with injury timelines.
LOL I was just wondering about that the other day. I'm like "I thought he was days away from being ready to start the season?!"

I can not believe that people are buying the media whore narrative that Alabama did not play dirty as hell and knock out Daniels.

That is how they get away with it.

Every defense tries to rough up QBs. Look what we did to Klubnik in the Orange Bowl. The horse collar and targeting plays were both borderline plays that were not dirty. Neither looked intended to injure and the targeting/non-targeting play was facemask to facemask with no launching.

I hate Bama and the bias they get but I just don't see it on either of those plays. The officiating in the UT game against Bama was much, much worse. IMO, Bama was smart to be physical with Daniels. Hell, we sure as hell played physical against Bruce Young last year in Neyland....not dirty but we were trying to put a hard lick on him whenever possible.

It seems that a lot of gamesmanship with respect to complicating how opponents prepare is involved. And the networks pretty nearly will say anything about whatever they happen to have in inventory in order to selling their ads.
