Nico checks the most boxes (skill, arm talent, athleticism, accuracy) of any QB we’ve ever signed.

I can’t wait to see him progress

Peyton over everybody tho
What intrigues me the most about Nico is how down to earth he is reported to be. All these coaches and experts and teammates repeatedly say he is grounded and a good teammate etc. Gonna be a fun guy to root for.

Nico Nico Nico!

We’re going to be saying why was he sitting the bench soon.

But our optimism for next season will be through the roof.

Go Vols
Nico could come out and throw for 500 yards and the same cast of characters would maintain that playing Joe was the “right thing” to do lol.

Well, I've never actually watched Iowa this season (astute analysis follows :)), but if the "expertly disguised zone coverage" described above actually is their strength then maybe it will be more difficult to disguise against those extra wide receiver splits.

In any case, I do believe that Heupel's extreme tempo offense is hard to prepare for, so just getting lined up fast enough may be Iowa's defensive weakness this weekend.

I think I would go
Manning
Clausen
Nico
Bray

I think Nico might end up on top, but damn that is a lot of pressure. I think of Manning's career when people start anointing him. Really really good, but no rings.
Rings are team trophies. If LSU’s QB can win the Heisman with 3 losses then nobody should ever talk about Peyton any more.

Peyton couldn’t beat UF and Clausen beat UF twice in the swamp are some of the dumbest things. People need to realize football is a team sport that needs all 22 players and the coaching staff to be successful.

ESPN talked Woodson up to Media, voting wasn't even close won by almost 300 votes...Peyton done himself no favors by having a mediocre SEC Championship game vs Auburn...

Woodson was going to win because the Country wanted him too...everybody but Tennessee fans...

Hooker and Joe seem really similar to me in that regard. I personally think the OL taking a step back and Joe just being an average QB instead of really good was more the problem. Those two issues compound each other.
I didn’t see that in Hooker. He was serious and appeared to care more.

Moss was the 76th ranked overall player in the country and has been in college since ‘21.

Brock Glenn was the 481st ranked player in the country and was in HS last year.
Say what you want about Lincoln Riley and his pathetic defenses...

The guy stacks Quarterbacks like firewood ...
