Why can no one follow the assignment? Lol I wanted to see people's ranking of true Freshman QB's. It is an interesting debate on potential versus proven.

A CFP committee that just does "What's Best For Business" ...

Sure there’s always some bias. And I’m not an “go SEC!” guy by any stretch of the imagination. But it’s the best conference. It has the best players. Some of the best coaches in America.

Year in and year out, the conference is the best in college football.

Bama and UGA are good but they are not dominant good like they have been. Washington and UM could hold their own against either and Tejas already beat Bama once. As for the other 3 in the top 13, Mizzoo is a good team this year. Ole Miss and LSU are not dominant teams and could lose on any given Saturday to a multitude of teams. The top 25 is closer in parity this year than anytime in the last decade. That is more of what I meant by the SEC being down. The SEC just isn't the single dominant conference like they have been, so to say that the 1 Loss SEC champ should be in the playoff over the undefeated ACC champ this year makes less sense than it would have any time in CFP era.

I think you’re gonna see Bama embarrass Michigan. Bad matchup for Mich.

I think a good idea for all message boards is to shut down during games and not reopen till an hour after the game concludes. Looking back, I have seen very good posters make very bad posts (sometimes distasteful) during and immediately after a game.

Not directed at you, or any poster for that matter, but the whole FSU QB got hurt so they don't deserve to be in the CFP but Bama does is the weakest pile for crap I have seen in a long while. That FSU defense is/was elite and they would have given any of the top 5-6 teams a game of it. Plus, they would have had their backup QB back by now which would have given their offense something. They got jobbed for Saban/Sankey/SEC and this Bama team/SEC Conference is the weakest it has been in at least 8 years.

ACC sucks. That is their issue. Nick Saban (not Bama) has imo earned the benefit in any close decision too. We all know who Vegas thinks was better. Money talks. This whole earned it thing is so overblown because none of the schedules are fair. Did TCU earn their complete ass whipping last year? That championship was bad football. The real championship has been the SEC championship most years and anyone with eyes will admit it. We should stop propping up straw men to watch them get destroyed. UGA should probably be in too, but that is a bridge too far. Most would agree they would have likely annihilated most teams. The expansion cannot come fast enough for me. Bowls not mattering will be half as important as how awesome these playoffs will be.

Many many many. It takes the reasoning part of the brain a full 2 minutes to catch up with the emotional response side of the brain. My theory is make people approve all game day posts 5 minutes after entry.

Then I hope Nico continues to exceed all expectations every game and returns for his senior year, becoming known as the best player to ever step on a football field. I hope he continues to do the same thing in the pros, then retires and becomes a famous actor/philanthropist/international ambassador of UT, before being elected president of the USA.

Probably zeroed in on Iowa as our likely bowl opponent during halftime of the Austin Peay game and remapped the QB playing time for the rest of the year accordingly

People say he was loyal to Milton. I think he was protecting Nico. He was a QB and an elite one. We all want Nico so bad now few will care if he chucks 2 ints in this game. That said I wish they had played more db's.
