I was listening to the radio coverage of the Peach Bowl, and the sideline guy said he’s had scouts tell him that they will give bumps to guys who don’t opt out because they appreciate their decision to stick with their team.

Eh, it depends. It’s not absolute.

One game of 60 minutes isn’t going to make or break a young player. Coaches can get them in if they really care.

The playoffs & NY6 or whatever they do. . . I say do the playoffs and bowls for the other top 35 teams. That would be 12 teams in the playoffs and about 12 more bowl games during the holiday season.
