I agree they are… but F them nobody here needs to carry their water glad they didn’t get the 3peat

I was probably the most elated.

I long for the days when, no matter how terrible UTwas and how good UGA was, I could always ask when the last time they won a natty. It would drive them nuts.

I miss those simpler times.

That means that UGA is not the best team in America. . . or, at least, can't be declared as the outright best.
They didn't look like the best team at any point this year. They were definitely not the clear #1. Maybe the best, but not definitely.

There was better parity this year than there has been in years, we're so used to declaring one team the clear best that it's a habit.

Food for thought.

FSU is considering paying $120 million buyout to the ACC to possibly get this treatment during the regular season (not even an away game).

Those thoughts and actions must be brutally sobering for the BOT and boosters right about now. You're not ready for the SEC.
They played 2 SEC teams this year and won. While I agree it would be much tougher every week, the FSU team with all of their players and Jordan Travis was a very good team. Huge overreaction from a team who was missing a bunch of players.

Sure, but that is a any given Saturday argument. Same with March Madness.

I'm not betting Bama if the SEC championship was a 7-game series. However, given one game, Saban is able to close his talent gap via out coaching Smart. I don't think that holds for 7-games.

Why did they lose to Bama?
They had won 29 in a row, back to back National Championships, and their focus/intensity dropped off just a bit against a team that had equal-to across the board, and could beat them if they fell off in just the slightest of ways...which is what happened, and they got beat by a field goal.

They played with fire a few times this year, focus/intensity not being where it needed to be. Finally bit them on the ass against Bama, a team they should have known better.

Still, they are the best team in the country.

How so lol

Based on winning a certain tier bowl (vs QB3 😅) or going "11-2"?

Superficially equal, only.

Let's see:
Mizzou - 2 ranked wins all year (😅) v #25 and a QB3 OSU, no MJHjr, etc
+12 ppg
Highest cfp rank 9th

Tenn - 4 ranked wins, including #1 Alabama with reigning Heisman, LSU with future Heisman in their building, reigning ACC champs Pitt, and current ACC champs Clemson with the best-parented 5* QB all-time
+24 ppg
Highest cfp rank #ONE
And this is what you call droppin a thermonuclear TRUTH bomb!

I would bet whatever you wanted for that match up.
Nonsense bet, but I'd definitely take the bet with both teams at full power.

UGA can't be declared the best, without question, otherwise they would be undefeated. . . and it could still be argued that another team is better. I think FSU could beat them with both teams at full power and there is a legitimate argument to make that it's possible, or even probable. You think they can't. Neither of us can prove our opinion as a fact.

Right. They had some questionable performances. They never looked like they were easily the best team in America, without doubt.

Jamal Wallace is everywhere..

Seriously bro...please let this go...we do not need to become this dudes enemy before he ever plays a snap...nothing good will come from making fun of this kid who is probably poor as freaking dirt and doesn't know how to conduct himself yet.

If this is not your intention...then please disregard.

This not a stfu post...just a sincere request to please let it go.

I’m hoping we get one back with Heupel someday
