Before that trade, the conventional team building path was get proven players/stars by any means necessary in lieu of hoping to hit on them in the draft. I was an early draftnik, so I saw the wisdom but it wasn’t publicized that the players Dallas received had draft picks attached if they got cut before the end of the season. That was the hidden genius of the deal. The other was what Jimmy DID WITH THE DRAFT PICKS. Other teams have gotten hauls from trading Pro Bowlers…like the LA Rams with Eric Dickerson. But they didn’t draft savvy or make follow up trades like Jimmy with the Cowboys. Jimmy also didn’t win every personnel move, but he got it right way more than wrong and that’s all I ask of Poles. This one didn’t work…next.

@butchna thoughts on reseeding after WC round of MLB playoffs..? Reason im asking some of the diehard Braves fans are screaming..they are getting screwed playing Phillies instead of Diamondbacks...isn't NFL only sport that quote reseeds after WC games...NHL and NBA definitely doesn't...

If game performances matter in recruiting then how does UF have such a great recruiting class? They haven’t put on a good performance yet this season. Even against us they were bad.

Guess you didn’t read what I said. Amount of receptions and yds per reception are two different things. I said they haven’t really had any big explosive catches. Outside of that Squirrel White catch last game.

If I had to take a guess I’d say about 20+ of those receptions were screens. We hadn’t even had a completion past 40 yds until last game…..

So per the previous posters point on (we should have guys on the top receivers list) that just isn’t true. Our receivers numbers don’t add up to that. Sorry to deal in hard to deal with facts…..

I could go either way, but I'm going with I want Vandy to win, because Florida needs to lose 2 games for us to make the SEC Championship. Might as well get it over now, then they can win all the games they want.

The offense is working. It doesn't matter how long the completions are as long as the chains are moving and the score is climbing.

This is a post of about the O, but I don’t know how good our defense is. I would wager that we haven’t faced a good offense yet. Rattler is upper echelon but the surrounding cast is lacking. How the D has accomplished what it has with little help from offensive TOP, still pretty impressive. I’m worried about playing aTm and then containing Bammer Milroe.

Leggette is pretty good. I don't think it mattered though, because our DL was destroying the chicks O-line all night.
