Most are.100%. I was watching a segment on ESPN earlier this week and went nuts when Ja'Marr Chase had no idea who LSU was playing this weekend. Made it seem like these kids are just playing for themselves and a paycheck without any school concern, like mercenaries. The rest of the segment was better with most players knowing who they were playing, so whatever.
Watching so many players incensed over flags yesterday was excellent because it shows they actually give a damn about their school.
He’d certainly be up there according to the data too. According to the ELO I’m looking at from 2019, OSU was the top ranked team in the ratings going into that year. Alabama was 6th coming into this year. Team talent comps aren’t that different. So DeBoer would probably be just to the left of Day in that upper right quadrant.I was wondering why Deboer wasn't on that list near Day, then saw it was from 2023.
I thought the seeding would be funny with Clemson maybe getting the 12 seed... but you make a good point yeti man.Why the hell would any Vol fan want Clemson to win? Clemson in the playoffs would help Dabo recruit. Screw that. They recruit a lot of the same kids we do. SMU doesn't. I hope SMU spanks that ass.
I’d give it a pickem. Clemson is good too, South Carolina isn’t what they have been. More reminiscent of Spurrier’s teams this year. Klubnik running will be the difference, and it’ll likely be a home game for Clemson being in Charlotte.I don’t think it’s likely. not saying you are, but folks are just looking at the names of the teams thinking Clemson will likely beat SMU. After they loss to BYU early, they’ve beat most teams decisively. They are solid on both sides of the ball.
You have Texas twice. But assuming you mean Texas wins (Now if uga wins that changes things, and I wouldnt expect us to be ahead of Texas unless uga beats them handily again)…Final CFP....................
1. Oregon
2. Texas
3. SMU
4. Boise St
5. ND vs 12. Miami
8. Ohio St vs 9. Texas
6. Penn St vs 11. Indiana
7. Tennessee vs 10. Arizona St
I meant Georgia .You have Texas twice. But assuming you mean Texas wins (Now if uga wins that changes things, and I would expect us to be ahead of Texas unless uga beats them handily again)…
12. Az st 11. Miami 10. IU 9. PSU 8. OSU 7. TENN 6. UGA 5-1 How you have them.
We play IU at home, then Texas in Jan 1 bowl, winner of uga/miami (prolly uga), winner of Oregon/OSU.
Insane is a bit strong. Their loss to Oregon is better than our loss to UGA.I think Clemson beating SMU is pretty likely. Don’t know what that does to us but being behind OSU right now is insane
