Being in active rosters and actually taking snaps in regular season games is legit. Idc if it’s 1 or 1000. It was a dumb comment and assumption with no basis.
I guess my point would be that Tee would not be able to sell "He played in the League" to recruits. Best leave that alone and that isn't as dumb as you might think for the simple reason of what the recruits next questions would be.
Don't try to oversell Tee. It would be a mistake. Tee's recruiting capabilities speaks for itself.
Tee's production as a Tennessee Vol who helped lead his team to a National Championship, which Peyton Manning could not do, is quite another and he is well remembered by all of us who are old enough to remember.

How are y’all spending your bye week Saturday?

I’m going hiking with my old man in Savage Gulf. Not sure how many more chances I’ll get to go on adventures with him.

And thank you, Veterans. May we all live our lives like it’s something worth fighting for. 🇺🇸
Love to hear it! Where are you from?

Close to my house. Take him to High Point restaurant. Bring your wallet though.

Just finished up a hunting trip with my dad this past weekend. Cherish every one of those times and take a minute to soak it all in. As many of you recall, last year my dad, 81, rolled his 4-wheeler over on top of him and broke 8 ribs. He's doing fine now but it really hit home to me.

Definitely harder when open to interpretation. I took his last statement as that but I could be the one misinterpreting. Wish he would hang around longer when he drops something like that.

Basically just quoting it again so it's easier for me to glance at, not in response to you.
Wasn’t the second quote that I responded to.

Timeout from Tee talk and the weekly rehashing of the qb situation just to address this group of seniors....I havent bought tickets inside Neyland since OU in 2015. After 3 years of Dooley product and then the last guy and his bs, I gave mine up. I bitterly decided when the university got serious about winning again, I would get serious about donating again. This weekend I bought 6 for Vandy and Senior Day. I can't fathom NOT being there. Jennings, Callaway, Byrd, Bituli, Taylor, Warrior. They all deserve a full crowd and a standing ovation. As much as fans complain and feel like they have been robbed of years of Volunteer joy, those guys have tenfold. And they stuck it out and now have become the centerpieces and backbone of this rebuild and culture movement.

Should Tennessee be headed where the majority of us feel like they are in the future, these guys deserve their place in Vol lore as the young men who turned the page on this dark chapter of Vol football. I hope they all cherish the time they have spent here as much as many of us fans have appreciated what they have done. If you haven't yet and have the time and resources, buy tickets, fill the stadium for these seniors, and lets all send them off right. Be loud, be proud, and oh, one other thing- kick the **** out of Vanderbilt. GBO!

Here are a few of my thoughts on the UK game Saturday and the season....

1. Let's go ahead and give JG a ton of credit. With the way the season started and some of the mistakes he has made this year...even losing the starting job...he has had great resolve. He could of packed it up and said **** it but he has been rock solid. JG is one of the biggest reasons why we have won 4 out of the last 5 games.

2. The progression of the defense this year...especially the DLIne has been nothing short of remarkable. A lot of people were making comments about how pathetic the defense was Saturday night...but we knew what we were going to be going up against in that very heavy rushing attack. This defense shut that offense down after the first quarter and made huge stops when they needed to.

3. Is Callaway the best 50/50 ball receiver in the country...I think so. Dude is unreal.

4. Warrior's improvement under this coaching staff is amazing. He's working his way to getting drafted.

5. We have to run the ball better if we want to get to a bowl game. The Oline is great in pass protect but they need to do a better job of opening up those lanes. Now, I do realize the line is banged up so this bye week comes at a great time.

6. Bituli is a machine. Henry To'o To'o is gonna be one of the all time greats here. Blakely made a huge play on that 4th and goal that has went unnoticed .

Why wouldn’t he be able to “sell it”? I’m sure he doesn’t play it up like he was a vital part of any franchise, but he has NFL experiences that would pique recruits interest. It’s definitely not something to be ashamed of like you’re SELLING.

Our WR play is better this year than it has been in a few years. His track record speaks for itself with WRs. He’s also playing a major part in developing our offensive gameplan.

I don’t follow recruiting so i can’t speak on that but if you want to look at individual position groups that have been less than impressive this year, Sherrar, Johnson, and weinke are the big 3. I really don’t think it’s debatable.
Agree on all points except Johnson. He's been the main reason we've gotten players from Memphis.

The impressive part was your dad was riding a 4-wheeler and hunting at 81. I hope I'm that fortunate at 81 to be active with my kids. Glad for you man, I lost my dad at a young age. I'm glad he bounced back from that.

He's a tough old bird. Has his own 4-wheeler. Typically doesn't place himself in bad situations. We've often joked with him about taking the knobby tires of and replacing them with street radials. He didn't use it this past weekend. Didn't need to where he hunted.
