Agree on all points except Johnson. He's been the main reason we've gotten players from Memphis.
LOL, "which Peyton Manning could not do," like the QB is the only position that determines whether or not a team wins it all. That's like saying, "Nick Foles did something Dan Marino could not do." Technically there's some truth to it, but a massively misleading statement.I guess my point would be that Tee would not be able to sell "He played in the League" to recruits. Best leave that alone and that isn't as dumb as you might think for the simple reason of what the recruits next questions would be.
Don't try to oversell Tee. It would be a mistake. Tee's recruiting capabilities speaks for itself.
Tee's production as a Tennessee Vol who helped lead his team to a National Championship, which Peyton Manning could not do, is quite another and he is well remembered by all of us who are old enough to remember.
Norvell would be a good fit too, if his sketchy past has finally been forgotten.Need to go after Leach. His system would fit the players that they have recruited under Morris last two cycles. Issue with Morris was he was trying to run his system with Bielamas' BIG10 players. Also Arky cant out "Bama" Bama or out "LSU" LSU. Need Leach's a-typical offense.
Just finished up a hunting trip with my dad this past weekend. Cherish every one of those times and take a minute to soak it all in. As many of you recall, last year my dad, 81, rolled his 4-wheeler over on top of him and broke 8 ribs. He's doing fine now but it really hit home to me.
Please note I said "Tee HELPED LEAD the Vols to a national championship. HELPED. HELPED HELPEDLOL, "which Peyton Manning could not do," like the QB is the only position that determines whether or not a team wins it all. That's like saying, "Nick Foles did something Dan Marino could not do." Technically there's some truth to it, but a massively misleading statement.
