Super nerd alert:

I usually would consider myself pretty tech savvy, but was confused why my internet was supposed to be 50 "mbps", verified it was topping out at 45 per SpeedTest, but I was only downloading files at 5 or 6 "MBps". I thought my internet was just slow or AT&T was gypping me.

Just noticed I've never realized the slight difference between the acronyms Mbps (megabits) and MBps (megabytes). When you are sold on internet speed by an ISP, they are mentioning megaBITS per second. But most of us think in file sizes, such as a 500 megaBYTE video file. You'd think with 40-50 mbps internet, you could download that in 10 or 12 seconds, but then it takes a minute and a half. There are 8 bits in a byte, so if you have 40 mbps internet, that's really only 5 megaBYTES per second of downloading ability. Feels a little misleading now to the average consumer, but I also remember the days of dial up and taking 1 minute for a text-only webpage to load, so I'm not complaining either.

Gray has a hard time getting on the field when he can't pass pro
It's like he's never blocked before in his life. His whole offseason should be pass pro and learning to get his feet up when the defender can only leg tackle him. Too many leg tackles on our RBs this year.

The SEC is a slaughterhouse. This garbage about other conferences being equal is stupid. This is the deepest, most talented (Proven beyond a shadow of a doubt every freaking draft day) conference period, and will remain so. Their best can beat the SECs best, but other conferences are a joke depth wise.
The sec is bad this year McGill. Losses to Wyoming, San Jose State, ga state. BYU, WKu, UNLV,

Elite: Bama, LSU
good: Georgia, UF, Auburn
Solid: A&M

Everyone else is mediocre to horrible.

My thoughts too. I see Bennett just now starting to turn the corner (3rd year at UT). Think once JJP hits that comfort in the system level he'll play fast and hard, he's probably second guessing himself on every play right now.
Yep. JJP hesitates with a half step at the snap right now.

He’ll eventually get comfortable and let it fly.

Holding on to the ball and RB pass protection are the top priorities for RB coach. In Grays defense, It’s really rare to find a RB that knows how to pass block when he arrives on campus. There’s a lot more to it then just picking up a guy.

JJ Peterson didn’t suddenly forget how to run fast, and jump high, and knock dicks in the dirt....

It’s obviously going to take time for the game to “slow down” for him. Unlike a guy like Toot, who picked it up very fast.

But it’s going to click eventually for JJP. And when it does....
But BGS said he won't ever pick it up and we all know his word is the gospel.

Wow.... maybe the Knoxville media needs to learn that always putting the program down and gleefully reporting things that are harmful to the players and team does not make you the one deserving the scoops.
Can we just fundraise for Jiminy Hyams to retire? I'll pitch in 2 quick kicks to the nuts.

He is. I think he has a very similar running style, with his vision and cuts.

But how old was Kamara when he got here? He was grown.

Gray is still a kid. Needs to get stronger.
One of the most under appreciated thing about kamara is how big he was. He played around 220. Was built like a sh!t brick house and was an absolute monster in the weight room.

I thought Palmer did ok Saturday.
He'd be an ok WR1, but really needs a JJ like senior year jump. JJ has gone from an ok route runner to a really good one. If Palmer can expand his game from just deep balls to getting open all over the field, he will be just fine. Also heard Gibbs, albeit in practice, is good at finding ways to get open.

We were told Gray was Kamara like in the preseason. What happened?
A google search shows a bunch of people saying "I've heard he's drawing comparisons to AK". One was a rando twitter user, then on SECrant, then on RTI Rocky Top Insider. No idea if this was really ever said by anyone legitimate or just internet hearsay.

For http://biletnikoffaward.com/fan-vote I just did some quick testing. When you vote the first time you get a "Thank you for voting!" message. Voting a second time gives "Thank you, we have already counted your vote." If you clear the cookies associated with the site and then revote you'll get the "Thank you for voting!" message again. Trying some other different scenarios also seems to confirm that they're using cookies to track and limit voting. If you already have a cookie set (i.e. you voted in regular mode) then voting in incognito won't work. If you don't have a cookie set, then you can vote multiple time in incognito mode by closing the tab (which deletes cookies set during that session) between votes.

On desktop in Chrome, you can clear the site's cookies by clicking the circle i before the site address and then clicking cookies. Remove all the cookies.
