Super nerd alert:

I usually would consider myself pretty tech savvy, but was confused why my internet was supposed to be 50 "mbps", verified it was topping out at 45 per SpeedTest, but I was only downloading files at 5 or 6 "MBps". I thought my internet was just slow or AT&T was gypping me.

Just noticed I've never realized the slight difference between the acronyms Mbps (megabits) and MBps (megabytes). When you are sold on internet speed by an ISP, they are mentioning megaBITS per second. But most of us think in file sizes, such as a 500 megaBYTE video file. You'd think with 40-50 mbps internet, you could download that in 10 or 12 seconds, but then it takes a minute and a half. There are 8 bits in a byte, so if you have 40 mbps internet, that's really only 5 megaBYTES per second of downloading ability. Feels a little misleading now to the average consumer, but I also remember the days of dial up and taking 1 minute for a text-only webpage to load, so I'm not complaining either.
It's extremely misleading, that's why they do it lol. Everyone thinks in bytes for everything else, the only time bits is used is in internet speeds.

For http://biletnikoffaward.com/fan-vote I just did some quick testing. When you vote the first time you get a "Thank you for voting!" message. Voting a second time gives "Thank you, we have already counted your vote." If you clear the cookies associated with the site and then revote you'll get the "Thank you for voting!" message again. Trying some other different scenarios also seems to confirm that they're using cookies to track and limit voting. If you already have a cookie set (i.e. you voted in regular mode) then voting in incognito won't work. If you don't have a cookie set, then you can vote multiple time in incognito mode by closing the tab (which deletes cookies set during that session) between votes.

On desktop in Chrome, you can clear the site's cookies by clicking the circle i before the site address and then clicking cookies. Remove all the cookies.

Delete history, cache, and cookies
Here's how to clear information from your device:
  • To clear your history and cookies, go to Settings > Safari, and tap Clear History and Website Data. Clearing your history, cookies, and browsing data from Safari won't change your AutoFill information.
  • To clear your cookies and keep your history, go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, then tap Remove All Website Data.
  • To visit sites without leaving a history, turn private browsing on or off.
Or, rather than going through all that, use incognito mode on a different browser.

He'd be an ok WR1, but really needs a JJ like senior year jump. JJ has gone from an ok route runner to a really good one. If Palmer can expand his game from just deep balls to getting open all over the field, he will be just fine. Also heard Gibbs, albeit in practice, is good at finding ways to get open.

Gibbs, Palmer, and Johnson will all be very valuable next season. Add Ramel to the mix and we should have a very capable receiving corps.

Yeah, I've been doing it a couple of different ways and had succes. Devo was wrong about not being able to and even move the vote on a tenth when it was as low as the twelves.

I would tell him but I didn't want another "I find myself really smart" post.😛

Hyams whining about Cole Cubelic getting the practice story on Trey Smith and how many practices he’s had. He actually said “I guess if I want info on Tennessee I’ll call a National writer cause they won’t give us that info” 🙄
Entitlement is gross.

The sec is bad this year McGill. Losses to Wyoming, San Jose State, ga state. BYU, WKu, UNLV,

Elite: Bama, LSU
good: Georgia, UF, Auburn
Solid: A&M

Everyone else is mediocre to horrible.

Still the best top teams (3 of the top 5), but B1G is making a push for best all around. Only maybe 2 bad losses and 7 ranked teams.

The West has weakened with Ole Miss, Miss St, Ark coming back to earth. Vandy also back where they belong and usc is trending back to the cellar.

Georgia "good"---they haven't even given up 1 Rushing TD this year. They could beat anyone.

This morning, when individual votes counted more percentage wise, it was easier to see the impact per vote.

In my test, I took the Texas Tech kid from 0% to 0.5%. He's back down to 0.1% now lol.
Then I burnt up my phone on JJ.

I think you can actually just hit refresh and vote again!

Georgia hasn’t played anyone to their caliber yet besides Florida and they looked very even on a neutral site. Dating back to last year they played 4 good teams. Florida, bama, LSu, texas. Only won 1 and got waxed in 2.

I know Tee was getting critiqued for recruiting, but we need to concede that he might be pretty good at coaching WRs. If we had more consistent play from the QB, these guys would probably be getting more national attention.

no. I still think SEC is the best conference but there isn’t nearly as big of a gap and it’s not because of depth.

The fall of the Mississippi schools, Vandy, Mizzou, SC and Arky will ensure the gap won't be what it was at it's very peak but I'll be interested to see bowl results compared to the early ooc games. Usually a 180 and there's a pattern over the years. Maybe all the coaching changes and new systems?

It's definitely a drop but I'm not convinced it's to the extreme you made it out to be, overall.

To McGill's point, if I had the elite team from a different conference and we were joining a new one, the SEC would still be the last conference on my wish list.
