S**t works.although I use jack,its most effective if you drink it just before actually getting sick,even if you feel slightly different sore throat,running a fever (etc.) body aches.The same goes for drinking a glass of OJ just before you get sick to get your immunsystem levels up.props to you for drinking the hotty toddy with wild turkey though.thats rough

My paternal grandmom used to give us a shot of jack mixed with honey and lemon juice. I don't know if it actually prevented sickness, but I used to sleep like a log in the winter months when I was a young boy.

Unfortunately when making my tea this morning I grabbed my favorite malty Assam when I intended to grab my lapsang souching which is my clear favorite for winter weather. While the Assam is wonderful I was looking for the strong smokiness of the other tea this morning

Personally I’m facsinated by home remedies.People don’t realize that a lot of that stuff works better than regulated medicines it’s just not ideal.the honey has so many different natural ingredients in it that helps the body but ultimately the honey soothes any throat pain combined with a warm liquid (tea) and whiskey fights the germ Because it’s alcohol,it’s a combination power bomb that aids in everything.im 27 and I still sleep like a baby after drinking it but I put 90% jack and 10% tea and honey so
