No pitcher is worth a 9 year contract. I hope the Yankees covered themselves with yearly stipulations in that big money deal. I don't think any starting pitcher, at that level, can go 9 years without major arm issues. I love the Yankees but I really think this one could bite them long term.

Last year I had a problem with the stros trading for Greinke. I just don't see any way that is possible that it could be justifiable to pay a pitcher that much

To be honest, if he stays out of trouble, I think he’ll have pretty good success there. But when/if he does, he’ll probably bolt.
