LBJ shoots a higher percentage 2pt %, 3pt %, better passer, and more clutch (look at the data)... plus he is the better passer. LBJ all day. Heck, statistically, LBJ is more clutch than MJ.

You MJ white knights are hilarious. Dude is the GOAT. Chill out with the LBJ insecurities.

LBJ is more clutch than MJ? Who's trolling now?

I dated a 35 year old when I was 19, so I got nothing on (moderately) old people.

Nah, I don't think mid-30s is old, but I figured that's be the youngest generation of the extreme LBJ haters.
Thereā€™s no hate on him from my end. Itā€™s entertaining that so many so inexperienced think that basketball was invented in 2000.

That's a good point. Bass referenced people being old and Butchna being very old, so I did assume he was talking about you all.

And I really like LBJ's game, as I played basketball similarly (minus a small amount of athleticism lol)
When you realize 50 is not ā€œvery oldā€ the facts will change in honor of your 50th birthday.

So this is off topic, but I am pretty pissed. 3 of my kids played soccer for the first time this spring and I was REALLY expensive, like $300 per person plus I had to buy uniforms. My 8 year old daughter had two practices and no matches and my boys had 3 practices and 1 match before an 8 week hiatus and then a cancelation email yesterday. The league said no refunds and are only offering a 45% credit towards the fall season, that my kids wouldn't be participating in anyway. The boys play football on fall so the credit is worthless to me. Not sure what my options are, but this has me pissed off.

To be fair though I've also had people try to tell me Andy Kelly was the 2nd best UT QB to ever play...

Unfortunately sports are rarely about pure stats when it comes to differing of opinions (and make no mistake any GOAT debates will always be purely opinion based). Archie Manning's NFL stats are garbage, but the Saints got him in their HOF and he's in their ring of honor.

MJ is the GOAT, but the old-timers senseless hatred of LBJ is cringeworthy.

"Jordan was 9-of-18 for his career in our playoff version of clutch. A 50 percent clip on such shots is simply outstanding. As of 2011, when this data was compiled, the NBA shot just 27.8 percent with the game on the line as a whole. Jordan nearly doubled that. Only four other players managed to knock down 50 percent of their clutch attempts during that time as well (Ray Allen, Michael Finley, Tayshaun Prince and Robert Horry). None of them put up more than 12 such shots.

Per ESPN.com, since LeBron entered the league in 2003, he has hit on the highest number of clutch field goals in the NBA. Thus far, he is 7-of-16 on those shots, good for a 43.8 percent clip, significantly lower than Jordan's. Once again we find Jordan on a whole other level. Even more so than LeBron.

That said, Jordan shot 50 percent for his career. How did he fare through his first 10 seasons? Jordan concluded his 10th season in 1995. Per Chasing23.com, Jordan was 6-of-10 in the clutch during the postseason through his first 10 years. His 60 percent clip trounces LeBron's 43.8."

Stats and all. . .

I felt bad for Archie in NOLA even while being a Vol fan. That poor guy was blown up repeatedly nearly every game and kept on playing hard. They were truly the Aints back then.
