James averages 19.6 shots per game. Jordan averaged 22.9 shots per game. Crazy how 3.3 shots per game more than James can turn a player into a "ball hog." You also mentioned people having a hatred for James. The same could be said for you and Jordan.
Nope. Space Jam was my favorite movie growing up. I love MJ. GOAT. I like LBJ more, as a basketball player and a person, but I grew up pretending to be MJ dunking on my LittleTikes goal.

The LBJ hate is just mind-boggling to me. I guess it is politically fueled or people insecure about MJ. I don't get it.

Yay! An MJ vs Lebum debate! I was about to say I didn't even start this one, but I actually think I did... Even though I'm not even apart of it now.

Also, I feel like I need to know how old all of you are. It is important for me to respect my elders, and I did not realize how many 50+ year olds I talk to on here everyday and assume they're my age

I'll be 72 tomorrow and this morning I shot 75 at the golf course. When I was 28, I played at Windyke Country Club, in Memphis. One of the guys in our rather large group was Bud Leonard, Memphis radio personality, and he was really good. I admired him for the way he played golf at 50 years of age and I told myself that I wanted to play just like him when I turn 50. Hell, I'm still playing like him at 72. Life is good and you should always respect your elders. Something that's definitely lost on todays youth. Carry on :):).

We can’t just go out and do it because it’s not our time. Gonna be so hard to replace warrior, JJ, callaway, and Bituli. Have zero depth at LB and a huge question mark at QB. Next year there will be more stable depth at all positions

Zero depth at LB is a stretch...

Henry T, Bennett, Crouch, Harrison, Johnson, JJP all returning and we had a great LB class in 2020.

Maybe an appropriate phrase would be “unproven depth”. But given that French and Eason are physically ready, those two plus the 6 you mentioned will be nasty IMO

You played well before me, but I have played both courses at Windyke many, many times.

I think Bituli will be a hard one to replace, but I'm pretty optimistic that the new young/hungry defensive coaches are going to be a shot in the arm for the talent we have on roster. I feel Rocker was a great talent developer, not sure I can say the same for the coaches that were at LB. Based on where the guys who played under them started & ended I can't think of anyone that really took strides under Rumph/Sherrer.

I saw someone say that Wilt's achievements are so legendary that it actually hurts him in the all-time rankings. Because how could a guy be so dominant unless he was playing against ditch diggers? But in reality Wilt may be the best athlete in the history of organized sports. There are endless stories and anecdotes of him just being laughably dominant. He wasn't just tall. He was freakishly athletic and strong on top of it.
He also said he slept with over 3000 women. If he really accomplished that feat, he is the GOAT in my book.

LSU CB hype is legit with Derek Stingley, though I like our pair more than any other in the SEC.
Alontae didn’t really start to play at a high level until the end of the year. He would need to take another step this year for us to have anything like the best cb duo in the conference. I think our DL could be as good as any in the conference though

Yeah as basketball fans it's hard to imagine not liking both for their elite play. The debate is just good fun, but at the end of the day, as a fan, I respect and enjoy(ed) watching both play immensely. Kobe too, even if I don't think he's right at the top. Still loved watching that dude and respected his mentality.

Alontae and Bryce, due to the suspension, started much slower than I expected last year, but they closed very strong.

I think the GA DL and ours are pretty even. I also think Georgia has better receivers. I mean Pickens and that 5* dude from Cali. Actually now that I think about it, FL, Bama and Georgia all have great wr’s right now.

if the qb issue isn't an issue....we can win 9 or 10 games. we're gonna be good on the DL and while we'll certainly missi BItuli and Taylor at LB, there's some potential there to go along wiht HT. as for WR, aside from palmer it's an unproven group, but the celing is....high. palmer, gibbs, johnson, keyton etc....

im not worried about DB's. losing Warrior hurts, but safety is one position i think we're pretty good at.....we have options.

RB, should be fine. TE...question mark, but pope is solid. need a couple of the others to step up for the 2nd TE spot.

it's not a slam dunk by any means, but this roster isn't terrible.....and it's good in the most important spots...the line of scrimmage. and if you're good there, you have a place to start and something to work from.

need the qb to be good. not great. not all sec or all american...just be good.
