yeah, read about it yesterday.

i have no idea about the bourbon, but for $200/bottle, my expectations would be high.

i loved the sound of the golf course....that sounds awesome. and i'm not opoosed to the shot of bourbon before, during and after the round either!! cool tradition they have regarding that.
Yea, $200 seems a bit steep. I’d like to score a bottle just for keepsake. Doubt WV would ever get any in, and I’m sure it’ll go fast.
Typically, depending on what it’s cut down to proof wise, y get about 26 cases per barrel. 13k barrels would yield about 4 million bottles at cask strength.

3 Randoms:

1. With the Waiver situation, looks like we will not have a chance to get JTD.... HB and Maurer better be ready to step up! QB is now legitimately our weakest/questionable spot heading into the fall.

2. With all the talk over on the Mondon thread, I sure hope ZE is able to publicly come out and let everyone know about how UGA tried to trick him into signing a LOI...

3. I am the world's worst still at star-gazing, but we need to figure out a way to somehow enjoy all this talent committing and not worry too much about rankings. We are well ahead of what anyone figured we would be at this point, and it looks like more good news will continue to pour in. I now totally trust Pruitt and staff's EVAL skills and know he/they are trying to get the best kids that fit their system. Example: Brashard Smith I believe is still a 3*, but if you look at his tape, he's a legit high 4* that would be a "Pig Howard 2.0" type player that you can't get enough of...

I know some kids will decommit, we will recruit over some existing, and still have a few surprises, but at the end of the day I think it's safe to say we will definitely finish in the top 10 or even top 5 if we hold onto most and add a few more...

GBO!!!!

we have too many prospects still out there that are really good players to keep the numbers as is. i think there's gonna be some really difficult choices made at some point, and i'd expect not everyone will like htem all.

i mean, here's who i (we) think are most likely certain takes, that we think we have legit chances with:
mondon, mims, arnold, wolfe, bell, dawkins, pennington, parker, price, page...

guys we may not have great shots with, but are recruiting and would take....taylor, ritzie, dink, D Warren, maclom johnson, grimes, Thornton, isaiah johnson, colson, jamon johnnson, jeremiah williams...

and there's a whole host of kids that we're in on and looking at...like prince kollie, zachery, malachi bennet amont others....

even with some attrition, that will most certainly happen, we literally can't take them all....amd i'm sure i left someon off.

gonna be interesting......it's only may.

I think the thing that excites me the most about our early recruiting success is what this staff has been able to do down the stretch over the last few classes. They’ve been really good, for the most part, at closing around signing day on big time targets.

If we have successful season (9+) like a think we will, then we’re looking at a top 5 class. Couple this with the past two classes, and we’ll finally have a roster full of talent to compete for SEC championships and playoffs.

Yeah, we're in a completely different spot than we've ever been in. Not that we've not had great classes before, but this is a first in the modern era of the early signing period. One of the things that bodes well is the fact that most every kid comments on how straight-forward and honest CJP is with them. Considering the decisions that will have to be made at some point with this class that will be paramount to not burning bridges with the folks who might not ultimately get to sign with UT. Not saying they'll be happy, but at least they know our coaches dealt with them honestly. Their coaches will understand the hard facts of recruiting as long as everything was transparent.

yep. and i still think that we took some of the early committments to help some of htese kids get noticed since there wasn't any camps this spring summer.....i think there was already an understanding for a few of them that we'll take your pledge now...but keep your options open. i have no way to prove that or know it to be true, it just seems like something that would make sense given the circumstances.

For the first time in as long as I can remember we will be in a position to where we have to choose which players we want to keep and which ones we unfortunately have to say goodbye to. The plans are already in place to be able to take the higher ranked wants and needs in the event we get to that point (which is approaching rapidly). It is how we handle this which will set us apart from the others out there that will put us in a better position in the future.

Love to hear this, feels good to be "back" in recruiting. Hope we continue to handle these situations with class, so it doesn't come back on us later.

David Pollack just picked Jamie Newman to win the Heisman on Get Up. What a Homer Douche he is. His face already looks Embalmed
"He's coming into a new offense with new teammates and no spring practice. Plus, he wasnt that good at Wake Forrest. Naturally, hes my heisman pick."
