A couple of notes to recap Pruitt on Vol Calls ā€“

First as someone already posted Pruitt got a ā€œfunnyā€ text from Lane Kiffin while being asked a question by Brent. I figure Lane is looking for some advice on his defense or maybe asking to borrow a few guys for their game this week with Alabama. Anyway Pruitt was laughing and asked Brent to repeat the question.

Pruitt said practices this week have been good. The guys are very focused. He went through the same list of things heā€™s been talking about that we need to work on. He said the guys on this team have a lot of confidence. Theyā€™re looking forward to the game and working hard to be at their best when we go down to Athens.

He said we obviously had a lot of guys miss a lot of fall camp so there at the end of camp the older guys got most of the work when they came back so we could get ready for our opening games. In an effort to recover from that and get back on the programā€™s preferred track the team will hold about a 50 play scrimmage Sunday night in order to get some of the younger guys more up to speed and ready for the Kentucky game.

Its nice to hear that practices have been good and the team is focused. A stark contrast from champions of life and hoping to keep the game close

I love how some posters are making this Georgia team to have the Bears defense. They have played two teams with bad offenses. Their QB situation is average at best. Yes, they have a great defense and ok offensive line, but we have great players too. I bet we see a huge difference in the secondary with Sham back and we mix a lot of blitzes this week. This team will be prepared.
I do agree that JG is the key to winning. If he doesnā€™t turn the ball over at all, we win. We are going to get some yards.

I'm really torn because I know we have the horses to run with Georgia. But we have a top 25 (being pessimistic) OL in the country possibly top 5. But Georgia's front 7 is definitely top 5 probably #1 in the country.

As you and others have said and it paaaaaaains me to say it but we'll go as far as JG takes us Saturday. That's why I think we lose 17-21.

I like to think that the elite CBs know they won't be beating out Bryce, Alontae and Sham, so they are just waiting until they are gone. But, yeah, I don't get it, either
Respectfully disagree. Hasnt stopped other teams schools, with top CBā€™s..... get elite CBā€™s
