If you feel the need to get conspiratorial, Phil isn't the one to be looking at. He can get a lot of things done and has gotten a lot done but he's not in any way a lone man in charge not when it comes to things like this.

We 100% are dodging Vandy. Fulmer knows Pruitt is done with a loss to Vandy. He’s saving Pruitts face and his. Other teams played games with like 40 scholarship players last weekend. We are basically packing it in before the damage gets worse. Even though we as fans know the damage is done. Lame duck coach and AD next year:

Then Pruitt needs to go. What’s the point? We are basically admitting defeat and our team and AD is quitting it sounds like. Can’t believe the University has sunk this low.

If the administration had half the fire and half the passion for UT athletics the fans did we wouldn’t be in this 15 year mess. There is no since of pride anymore within the university and it’s a disservice to all those who played, coached, studied, and worked behind the scenes at the University of Tennessee for over 100 years. It’s truly embarrassing.

I disagree. We don’t need any reason to keep a lame duck head coach. Fans will be checked out and we will delay the inevitable. I think a blow out to UF does the trick.

It’s amazing how many people are in saving face/throw in the towel mode. We are an embarrassment. When the “best” thing for your football program is to have the games cancelled it’s beyond time for a change. There is no sense of pride. We are finally in the phase of accepting doormat status in the SEC and College Football.

Not a troll at all. Been here for years. I said Pruitt was a low IQ individual for not wanting to play HB. Please tell me how we are going to dodge Vandy because some players are out? General Neyland is turning over in his grave. I believe @Atlanta VOL. All of our insiders are now saying 1) @LA Vol best case scenario is we don’t play the rest of the games (chicken sh!ts) 2) @matts42012 said recruits are about to hit the exits. 3) @Atlanta VOL @MetalVolunteer big names are getting increasingly frustrated with the product of crap football we are being served.



Pruitt is done and we are prolonging it.

One thing that doesn’t add up about the sec claiming this was done to get the 10 games in is that Vandy nor mizzu plays the weekend of the 12th.

i’m not buying this was an orchestrated scheme by fulmer but this fact makes one go hmmm

edit: that may be incorrect I am only seeing 9 games on mizzu schedule. Confusing

Vandy could have played us this weekend. We just have some in quarantine and aren’t confident we’d win. SEC probably proposed it and we jumped at the chance to postpone...

Isn’t it great that we are the least important team in the league to worry about scheduling? We are in such a solid spot these days!
Even if it isn’t true it sucks to feel that way.
