O'Brien is a much more attractive candidate than Marrone (woof!!!).

These are not the flashy guys, but Marrone took a Syracuse team that was worst in their conference for like 5 years and won a conference championship in year 4.

O’Brien not only had a a nice run at Penn State, but he was 1st in the AFC South 4 times during his run with the Texans.

Neither are flashy, so maybe that explains the hate, but what UT has needed more than anything is a head football coach that knows how to coach.

I'll always have the utmost respect for how he represented himself and this University. Regardless of how he performed, he's the embodiment of how I would want every VFL to represent themselves off the field.
