But far from being a slam dunk home run. He was fine at Washington and got fired by USC for being an alcoholic.

1.) Washington is where they are now because Sark took over Willingham's mess and set the foundation.
2.) He was fired, but has seemingly recovered from his addiction.
3.) He's been a phenomenal coordinator for Saban.
4.) Still extremely young.

Slam dunk gets thrown around a lot, but there are very few slam dunk hires in college football. Sark is a very good hire though.

That's exactly my point. I was never trying to say Sark is bad. But people seem to think that having money means you can just hire whoever you want.

What’s funny to me about the anti Kiffin or anti Freeze folks is that many cite “morals” when both of them are Christians. Yes, adultery cost one his marriage and another his job. But, both are offensive football gurus. Which is what we desperately need.

Pruitt was fired. I'm not going anywhere. Guess plowman heard I was gonna leave if pruitt stayed, so she did what she had to do to keep me. I'm trying to be optimistic about this coaching hire, I really am. It's just hard.

Guys, I still do not recognize UCF's claim to a NC, but I do thank them for our new AD.

The only thing I will concede is their claim is as legitimate, or more so, than some of the titles Bama claims. But that's as far as I'll go. There will be no official recognition.

Respect my decision.

Charlie Ergen is worth 10.5 billion. That's some serious FU money. I still see the Vols on dish commercials, so I know he still cares. Maybe he threw his hat in the ring.

Question for the board, if we were to hire Kiffin back do we believe he would embrace our traditions and history this time around? I seem to recall him pushing the USC theme while here the first go round. I would hope he'd buy in this time to our traditions and build upon them. Not trying to be negative toward Kiffin but if it worked out, I'd want him to be ALL in with the Vols.

I think he would. Maybe not to the extent that some others would but I don’t think it’d be like it was in ‘09 in regards to other schools stuff in the complex, etc.

Sark will succeed at texas.

Texas has had a similar issue as us. Lots of meddling with boosters and admin. They have more money than about anyone, and lots of talent in the state. They could easily become a juggernaut. I really like their AD as well.
