Answer my question. Why do you go hire a $2mil AD when any decent AD in the country could have made the same hire?

You hire him to let him make a decision since he knows how to do it. I just don’t agree with you.

Nobody wants to admit it but I have said this ADs most important hire is the next one.
It doesn’t matter who this hire is they are destined to fail imo

If we keep bringing in bargain bin coaches, experiments type hires it will never end. We could have paid $10/year for a coach with all the buyouts we've paid. I've said all along we're going to have to spend our way out of this. One way to get out of this mess and that's to pay a proven guy. Everyone has a price. If they hire Fleck I give him a 50/50 chance. The others mentioned, I'd give them a 25% chance.

The AD does much more than hire and fire coaches.
It’s pretty clear we needed more then just that
