He was pretty adamant about it. He mentioned that ESPN had Bailey as a mid 200 recruit and Rivals had him very overrated.

If it was just TN offering the kid, I would believe it. I don't think that every school on his offer list had him pegged wrong though.

Swain declared Bailey a huge bust today. Said it was a major miss that he was a 5 star. Ben said he doesn't have ability and Swain said he isn't SEC level. He did say he could develop and get better, but right now he isn't SEC level.

I like his show. He’s 100% on all predictions and declarations.

Very possible idk. It was just weird because I jumped on VQ and the same chatter occurring. The 247 poster talks as if he has a strong source...maybe nothing...but it sure wouldn't surprise me at this point either. His dad...the influx of new QBs...not clear cut #1...guess we'll see. I just want one of our 48 quarterbacks to step the heck up

Plenty of top 100 type kids have a lot of work to do...and Bailey was ranked exactly #100. That might as well be the definition of such a kid...talented but plenty of work to do. Just look at Salter. He was ranked comfortably ahead of Bailey and has a ton of work to doein the midrange game.

Recent recruits ranked above HB - Crompton, Bray, JG. Ainge just behind him. Dobbs a bit further back. Who of those guys in his range, outside of Bray, killed it from the jump?

Yea i mean i love Zach Wilson but he has several things he needs to clean up... but his arm talent can overcome them more often than not. Bailey doesn’t have that kind of arm talent so it’s even more important for him to be mechanically sound

I don’t know how they are benefiting from sitting on their ass. Either go through spring here and stay in shape then leave. Or go ahead and get somewhere.

I think his dad (and all dads for that matter) are overplayed in these conversations. MOST have their kid’s backs and are heavily biased. We expect them to be objective program fans. Can’t help you with a message board poster “with sources” thing...that’s new world territory.

Well the fact that we’re bringing in a Michigan outcast is pretty telling of what Heupel thinks of the QB room.

Is it? I am not sure that it is. If he ends up starting in September, that will be telling. Nothing is very telling right now, IMO.
