Moron.
Well, according to the post above yours, the chiefs might have been the only team able to draft himI'm surprised the Titans don't draft more Tennessee players. Not saying they should draft Tennessee players just to draft Tennessee players, but when you have a player like Trey sitting there in the later rounds..... A quality player that can help your team AND would be hugely popular to your fanbase... just seems like a no-brainer. But Trey ended up in a great spot.
If true, that's dumb. This condition isn't new to the NFL. They know it can be managed. If the Chiefs were the only ones smart enough to know this, good for them. They're getting a steal drafting Trey that late.Well, according to the post above yours, the chiefs might have been the only team able to draft him
Moron.
Insidery poster on 247 actually called the Chiefs pick about 40 minutes before it happened and gave the reason. The Chiefs were the ONLY team that were able/willing (not sure how it works or what determines it) to medically clear him. The other 31 teams literally couldn't even clear him to be drafted. Makes perfect sense considering his top round talent.
"Recruiting rankings of the three UCF DBs who have been drafted:
> Richie Grant (second round to ATL): Two-star (78 rating from 247Sports) in 2016.
> Aaron Robinson (third round to NYG): Three-star (88 rating from 247Sports), No. 41 cornerback in 2016. Signed with Alabama but transferred to UCF before his sophomore season in 2017.
> Tay Gowan (sixth round to ARZ): Three-star (83 rating from 247Sports) junior college transfer, No. 147 overall juco and No. 16 juco CB.
Strong player development from Willie Martinez."
