Well, @Weezer ,when two cellmates really love each other the larger more dominant one will make the other his prison $&%*^. Then the prison $&%*^ will do the hokey pokey and turn himself around. For the larger more dominant one, that's what it is allllll about.
You're probably over thinking this.

If you don’t think the fastest growing population in the country doesn’t translate to increased talent, I don’t know what to say.

It’s changing. Look at Oakland HS. James and Horton SEC talent. Riverdale Herring Brothers (both in orange). Oakland has a really young OL that will be among the top players in the country.

Ty Simpson/Walter Nolan I mean there’s talent in this state.

Players are transferring from other states every year to Murfreesboro. It’s changing. Never reaches Georgia/Florida level. I get that

To an extent yeah. Some of these coaches hold bitterness because TN didnt recruit some bum ass player x amount of years ago. At some point they need to also attempt to benefit TN.

Just because Jim Bob is the greatest RB you have coached doesn't absolutely mean he is an SEC RB. Maybe your teams have just been slaw and you are a better Study Hall teacher than you are a football coach.

Is Farrell saying that he knew that trey would eventually get blood clots and that is why he didn’t rate him higher in high school? Lol surely he was drunk last night

Everyone knows trey was a 1st or 2nd round talent. The only reason he didn’t go during the first two rounds was because of the blood clots. That makes Farrell’s response even dumber.

It is getting better but it is still a far cry from GA, FL, and others. You can't ignore TN but you can't get tunnel vision either.

When have we ever done that? Tennessee has always been a national recruiting team. Mainly due to what the anti coffee drinking, LeBron gif posting, puppy kicking poster that shall remain nameless said above. Times are changing though.

Yeah, I don’t get why people think recruiting nationally/regionally well and recruiting TN well are mutually exclusive. Here’s to hoping the current HC doesn’t feel that way.

Braden Davis, a four star QB from Delaware, committed to uscjr. Son of Antoine Davis.

Obviously our staff wasn't recruiting him.

Hate that I have to root against a legacy kid but the young man put that evil on me, committing to a team I utterly despise*.

*although my hatred for them has diminished slightly since we beat them the last two years and muschamp is gone. Kentucky is taking their place now.

2022 SEC Football Team Rankings

Obviously early but Ol Miss isn't killing it (relatively speaking) as much as I thought they would. That'll likely change. But I wonder if I over rate how good a recruiter Lane is. I still believe hes a huge threat for us in Memphis. Exciting offense just like us and a lot closer to those kids than we are.

True. Major difference is the Tennessee players are new to the state with little loyalty the flagship university while ga and fla kids tend to grow up in the state. Agree Vols have always recruited nationally and missing on instate top ranked players is nothing new (Leroy Thompson for example).
