Pumped? The breast milk I mean.
She struggled breast feeding directly best I recall. He couldn't get latched on well enough to get satisfied so she pumped for a few months. Fwiw, I truly think that every child who possibly can should be breast fed at least the first 6 months. I believe it's much healthier and you don't spend a fortune on the formula racket!

Speaking of canning, one thing that has been extremely hard to come by since the pandemic hit last year is quart-size jars. We thought when the season started, we were in good shape, but our garden far exceeded what we anticipated and is still producing fast. Went to 5 stores yesterday within a 15 mile radius before finally finding enough to hopefully get us thru this canning season.

Hopefully Liberty will have a starting spot available

My wife, aka Conanda the Barbaress, braved 2 bouts of mastitis, yeast infection, food poisoning, bilirubin levels, colic, reflux and post partem...and did not deter. One year happened and boom, solids! Shes a champ.

In listening to Heupel and talking to others, the story of scrimmage one was the improvement of the defense. No one is pronouncing those guys as having arrived but it's a different unit than it was in the spring.

It's a more confident group at all three level and frankly a group that's just playing a lot harder especially on the defensive front. Byron Young and Roman Harrison both showed up off the edge. Young continues to be one of the guys everyone is buzzing about. Technique is much improved. He's heavier and stronger and has some twitch to him. Harrison has flashed. I think his challenge is holding up against the run.

The newcomers on defense via the portal are making a difference in this team particularly in the front seven.

With the good comes the not so good and it wasn't the offensive line’s best day and overall the offense wasn't sharp. They had some dropped passes, too many penalties and didn't play well. Penalties set them back a ton as they started several drives at 1st and 15.

At quarterback no great separation moments, Milton did have a long run, but overall the offense sputtered and didn't sustain any drives. They did find some success in redzone work, but not in putting the ball down and driving the length of the field. Because of the inability to move the chains the offense didn't really get into their tempo.

I'm not worried about the offense at all. It's going to be there.

What we should be noting is the improvement of that defense. Everyone said we were depleted and would be horrible. If we're going to be above average on defense, there's no telling how far we could go this year. It's happening

3 weeks to work all that out. Splitting time with 3 QBs that are trying hard to win the job is probably not helping.
