Futbol Is Life.

Only Futbol that I truly enjoy is Ted Lasso…

Unless it’s going to a World Cup match live…
buddy sent me a vid of him live from Chelsea match vs ManCity. The bloke behind them was smashed, fighting the constabulary😍😍 would love to see a match, seemed like a giant party

Pitt game likely will determine if we go 5-7 or 6-6
As compared to UK, Mizzou, USCjr, or Ole Miss? Don't see the difference. Those all look like 50/50 or 60/40 games.

For that reason, I don't see any of them as critical. We have 4-5 that are very much tossups. And 2019/2020...even 2015/2016 should be proof enough that winning an early game or losing it...really doesn't have much effect. Sure every game outcome has some predictive value, but clearly not that much when you can lose to Ga St and BYU...start 1-4...and win your last 6.

Incredibly nice and very expensive. My wife liked the GV80 but couldn't see the benefit in spending another $15k over the 2022 Pathfinder Platinum 4WD she ended up with. She liked the Highlander a little too, but absolutely loves her Pathfinder. That new model is definitely worth a look for anyone in the market for a third row mid-size SUV.
If I werent a Toyota nut id prob look at a GMC, Used Lexus, Honda, or Toyota. But prob a Toyota.

Even Atl games are supposed to be really good. Would like to catch a Nashville game too. Only thing is the talent in MLS...gets pretty dang sloppy. But I have no doubt watching live would be cool.

Also saw a tweet today from Alexi Lalas talking about the "Malice at the Palace" documentary about the mid-2000s NBA fight with fans...said those guys wouldn't last 5 minutes in CONCACAF. Not that it's right and a bunch of fanbases are garbage in soccer...but he wasn't wrong either. USMNT go through 10x worse than a cup of soda every time they play El Tri and others.

I hope he’s played those courses. It’s a serious fashion faux pas to wear anything from a course you’ve never played.

Just saying

So, when my son was 3, I got to play Pebble Beach. In the pro shop, got him a cool little golf hat.
He had just started playing golf with me. When I gave him the hat, he asked me when we could play there.
I responded when you are a teenager. No mention from him again. Thought that he forgot.

Fast forward to the morning of his 13th birthday. I go to wake him up for school. Wish him a Happy Birthday. He smiles and says, So Dad, I am a teenager now. I respond, Yessir. He then asks, When are we playing Pebble Beach? He never forgot.

We have been out there twice, but no Pebble tee times unless you stay on property (damn expensive). He and I have played Spyglass and Spanish Bay. We have a goal of a boy’s trip to play…hopefully by next year, he will have things straightened out in his life and we can get to fulfill that promise. 🙏

You know kids always seem to remember things when it’s pertaining to spending a chunk of money. #neverforget

Welcome to Tuscaloosa, Hell on Earth. Come meet our lord and master, Nick Satan, err... Saban.

Without the portal I'd agree with you. I'm not saying we won't, or shouldn't give CJH 5 years, but the narrative can't be that it takes that long anymore. Just look at how well we used the portal this year to offset our loses.
I get your point and it is a good one, but there's a downside too. It helps immediately, but could hurt us down the road (2-3 years right as we're trying to get over the hump). So...it's possible we may appear to rebuild quickly...but then hit a plateau and make it harder in a couple years.

All those lost signing spots (guys transfering and having to replace them...while not getting their spot back) means we are going to be short in future classes. When we'd normally have 3rd-5th year guys coming into their own, our transfers are already gone.

Which is why I think there's extra importance in being successful early. You can't go all-out on rebuilding through transfers (they really didn't have a choice in this case though) and go 4-8/5-7 and hamper the next class more than it already is. Gotta hit on some surprise wins this/next year and send recruiting up enough to make up for the above losses.

Nashville SC games are fun. Will be even better once the new stadium is open next season.
