He looks just like a “Thad Turnipseed”

Turnipseed makes the case for de-Anglicizing surnames lol. Holy crap I googled after I made that joke and had no idea I was actually stating a bit of truth rather than just making a joke. It should be Rübsam which means Turnipseed or turnip grower in German. Rübsam comes across as a better surname, imo.

Has anyone considered that he might be telling the truth about the woman trying to run over his mom or that he's at least being truthful in that he genuinely thought she was? I think police believe him at least on the point that he wasn't trying to do anything more than scare her because the charges as filed are 'without intent to kill,' but this is a sorry situation. Whatever else was going on it never should've gotten to the point where the kid feels the need to go get mom's gun and fire it.

I'd laugh at South Carolina but these are the kind of charges in the exact kind of state that you never ever want to see a young person get charged with, especially since whatever else was going on he's paying for his response to the actions of the adults around him.
Does it bother anyone that his mom was carrying an automatic weapon in her purse and he knew it was there :cool::cool:

I’ll admit. I was pissed about that loss to Pitt. And I thought it would be the difference between us making and not making a bowl. I was wrong about our team and I was wrong about Pitt. Pitt was a good team this year. And we turned out much better than I expected.
I had them as a 2-3 loss team after we played them. They are good

I wonder if there was a provision in the rule that allows you to add spots for transfers that allows a team to backcount last year since we had a transfer portal but no rule to backfill them

I thought it did and even considered posting "why was momma carrying a gun around?" but then I realized that my mom carried a gun my whole life and still does. It would be pretty hypocritical of me to jump on that bit of the story so I'm going to give her the same benefit of the doubt that I give my own mom and guess that she carried because she felt she needed something extra to keep her and her children safe. That's why mom started - she'd drive up the mountain alone or with just her and us kids in the car and carrying a gun seemed reasonable, especially on a long lonely stretch of road before cell phones. Now, it's just a bit of protection and habit, I guess.

Back when the internet was still relatively young, the OH and I saw a documentary about saline and the crazy things people were doing with it. This article is newer but the topic is old and I will let that author describe what's happening - lol.

People Are Injecting Their Scrotums With Saline to Get Huge Balls

EDIT: I see the auto-title tells the tale. Do y'all remember those kangaroo bouncy ball toys for kids? That's what it always reminded me of and some of the things dudes were doing that description isn't too far off. Ahh I wish I could remember more but I do remember that some of the guys were having trouble with getting the amount of time it would take them to return to a normal size right. That was one of the most unintentionally hilarious documentaries I've ever seen (I really do wish I could remember the title.)

One more thing... why does the title say 'people' instead of men? lololol.

There's a maintenance guy that works at the resort my wife works at and his hang out the bottom of his khaki shorts. I feel bad for the guy because they cause him a lot of pain but also hilarious, especially when he attends team meetings and his balls the size of grapefruits are hanging out. Reminds me of the old Jim Carrey "your balls are showing" quote.

No way to prove it but I think everybody's reading way to much into this. I still feel that he is ours.
I’m kind of wondering the same thing. I mean what has been said or discussed to make us believe he isn’t? Just because we didn’t visit him before he left for France isn’t really enough for me to say he’s out of reach.

Ya of all the things they need to work on, a one time fake slide made it to the top of the list?

As it should of. It should of also been ruled down per the actual rule. Where the slide is “initiated at the spot of the ball is marked” so he should of been down where he initiated the fake slide.

The fake slide is an issue because that rule was put in to protect players who have given themselves up. Faking a slide puts people in danger of getting injured.

So yes, that should have been implemented right away.

Agree with you.
I wasn’t making fun of him or USCe. I just posted the article
