So, I'm making the drive up tomorrow morning from southern mid TN. Really excited to take my daughter to another game. Been too long but with the farm and the rescues we take in, time and money for US has been slim.

Any ideas on parking that isn't too far and reasonably priced? I expect we will get there a couple of hours before kickoff. Thanks in advance!
It’s a little bit of a walk but I like parking in the children’s hospital garage. It’s only $5 and it goes to the hospital. It can sometimes be a wait to get out after a close game though.

Last week I parked in some museum parking lot near Worlds Fair Park that wasn’t even collecting money and was just a few blocks from campus. That might be different on a Saturday though.

Thanks to Volnation

Hey guys, so I’ve updated you on my car situation before but I just wanted to make sure it didn’t get overlooked, and I’ve finally recorded that thank you video in the backseat of this van on my way to a meeting 😂 sorry for the quality.

Love you guys. You raised $9,000 and we got a beautiful 2018 Prius Prime, which is the least Prius looking Prius, which is a real win for me 😆

😘

My guesses in my pick the score entries so far seem to underestimate the strength of the defense. Still haven't quite caught with myself. I liked the play last week. Hopefully this week's performance will thoroughly convince me. I am thinking that it will.

Crawled with full mountain climbing gear.

Then yes, glad to hear you made it safely.

I81 traffic is kinda ridiculous though. Coming down from TriCities I'm always glad to get here in one piece.

Which leads me to another thought: Why didn't you Volvo owners tell me about Pilot Assist?!? Where has this been all my life?

Would be a great win. I hope for the players, staff and all of VolNation that’s the outcome.

I hope if we lay waste to Pitt somehow, Heupel nonchalantly in the postgame presser says
“… And lastly… we’d like to invite Coach Narduzzi to come sit in the stands during our SEC bout against Georgia so he can see our fans riled up up for a worthy opponent… they were a bit bored today”

All this Johnny stuff here lately got me thinking of him on the Johnny Majors Show always yelling at the replays like it was live.

”North to south! North to south!” And on and on he went.

Something that stood out to me in the Straight Ahead feature was when Coach Majors said the rebuild was going to take time and effort. We’re in the same boat today. It has to take time, dedication, and hard work. Perfect practice makes perfect, and that ain’t gonna happen overnight but we WILL get there.

So I was born in ‘85 but I wish Coach Majors was my coach for years to come (not saying Fulmer wasn’t). I just wish we had a coach like Bowden and Paterno who were staples in the community for decades. If Majors was allowed to stay on, I think we still would’ve won a national championship.

Edit: I got tears in my eyes when I started hearing the Game Maxims. I would give up my left nut to have a game day experience. Pat Summit used to have a game day experience for fans and my sister got to experience it in the early 2000s. She was ready to run through a wall for Pat after that day. Maybe UT can create a day where regular fans can interact or ask questions to current football players to let them know what UT football means to them and hopefully they would have more respect for the program and understand who/what they’re playing for.
