Iowa blew that. Get one more first down on that previous drive and even if they stop you from a second first down you are most likely taking at least 2 min off the clock. Instead you run it between the tackles 3 straight times. Deserve to lose.

I'm not as optimistic about next year as many. I hope they prove me wrong again next year. I just think losing the players we did means younger less experienced players will have to step into roles they aren't prepared for, physically or mentally.

Our strength and conditioning crew has a lot of work to do in the off-season.
