I'm sure you guys will find it amusing that the son of former UGA player Verron Haynes just stepped on Georgia's face with a hobnail boot. Justice Haynes committed to Alabama and, judging from the number of people who thought Haynes was a Georgia lock, it appears he did it with bad intent. Georgia fans are not happy campers right now.

Anyway, time for my vodka, orange, pomegranate and lemon juice cocktail.
Get away from the pomegranate juice. It's discoloring your perspective.

Sounds like Cade Mays. Don't burn bridges, he might be back next summer. But yes that's funny

So….

Ya boy completely abandoned the RV idea for this summer to Montana and Wyoming but did score us a place to stay just outside of Bozeman in late September for 10 days. So we will fly. Allegiant direct from Nashville to Bozeman FTW. It looks like a really cool college town. Any VN peeps have food recommendations, short hikes (got kiddos) and scenic things to do?

Also, I do plan on a night in Jackson WY to do a circuit of Jackson Hole/GTNP. But will probably just do one day in Yellowstone… so, would you recommend the west/north/south loops for someone with just one day in mind, or is it actually practical to do two separate days while not actually staying in the park (we will be an hour from the west entrance).

I’m so friggin giddy.

@Ulysees E. McGill
Have fun...I feel sorry that you only get one day in Yellowstone, and one day in GT. The question is what do you want to see/do most in YNP and what do you want to see/do most in GTNP? Two days for the whole area is...sad, especially since you will lose a lot of daylight driving...especially in YNP. I have spent 6 full days in YNP, and 4 in GTNP and still missed so much.

Wanted to give it a 'like'...I even did, actually...had to take it back. Couldn't live with myself.

As much as I enjoy laughing at you dawgs, i hate joy for Bama infinitely much more.

What is going on with A&M? They had the best class in recruiting history last year and now they are 60th or 70th on 247. They only have 4 commits and could rocket up the board but that's odd.

I have 8/9 full days though.

It looks like i can hit Old Faithful, Paint Pots, Grand Canyon of YNP, Mammoth Spring, and Prismatic Spring within couple hours of each other on one day. We aren’t staying in the park, so we would have to come back to go into Lamar Valley for all the wildlife unless you think we’ll see some in the aforementioned route. Minuscule, I know, compared to all that is out there.

And GTNP is going to be couple half days, one for some pictures (TA Moulton Barn, Schwarbach’s Landing), then another day at Jenny Lake.

There’s some beautiful scenery in Gallatin NP as well in Bozeman. I’ve resigned myself to the fact that there is too much and I just will have to come back for more 😀.

I’m sure they’re trying to be a little more low key to avoid more of the ncaa eye on them. Future playing time concerns being behind that class could be a reason too

It would be Tennessee way before UNC or VT. Tennessee has more “want to” than both of those programs, especially UNC. UNC cares too much about academics for their football team to be top tier. Basketball has been top tier for decades. VT has a rabid fanbase but just don’t think they can do it in this day and age, but I would pick them over UNC to be top tier in the future.

That’s true but we also play a schedule that is waaaaaaaayy harder to win 9 games every year

Just finished the The Open. Talk about some clutch shots and putts. I thought Cam was out of it early on when he bogeyed a couple of holes but man did he get hot. i was pulling for the other Cam to win. Can't believe that is the last major of the year. I'm sad but it does bring us closer to Fall camp!!
